One of the best yaoi Drama CD ever

Awesome!! I love it. The storyline is good. The character, Yomura, suddenly have the ability to hear people's thoughts 3 years ago, which first appear when he was with his girlfriend. Heartbroken to hear his girlfriend's thoughts, he broke off his relationship with her, quit his job, and try to avoid society. However, thinking how stupid it was, he tries to step back in the society by working as a computer sales person at a home appliance store. Then he meets his co-worker Hasebe, who had feelings for him. This is where the spark starts. Yomura knows he should avoid him, but he couldn't and starts to hang out with him.

Through-out this drama CD, we listeners follow Yomura's suffering of the ability to hear other people's thoughts and how he tries to deal with Hasebe's feelings, which kept echoing his love for Yomura. The turning point is when Yomura have to confess his ability of Hasebe and there was this tension of how would the truth be dealt.

The voice acting is good as well. I can feel the mood and emotions behind their words. I've listen to several CD dramas before, and I think this is among the best. The background noises is really good, enabling me to know what is the environment around them. The H-stuff.... *blushes* Let's just say I was nosebleeding and good thing I put on my headphones on. (>O///////O<)

Now, the translations. It comes in PDF format, which I think it's prefect because it included the translation as well as some pictures. I also love the footnotes they put in. I, myself, love reading translation notes in general and they did it perfectly by inserting footnotes. Not only that, they also added the action's noise, like [restaurant noise] or [pouring tea]. I like that because I can also read this script without having to rely on the Drama CD. In fact, I read both script before listening to the Drama CD.

Because it comes in PDF format, I felt it was organize very well. The font and paragraphs is done very well. The only complaint I have is that the font suddenly change and it's obvious it doesn't fit in (as if they were having problem with Microsoft Word before converting it to PDF), but that that is done rarely.

My other complaint is that they didn't translate the actor's freetalk which that track is inserted at the end.

UPDATE:
I found out there is a spin-off (or parallel universe of what happen if Yomura never believed Hasebe) - which feature 2 new main characters - and a mini sequel to KNH. The spin-off is called, "Koto no Ha no Seka" and the mini sequel is, "Kotonoha Biyuu." Personally, in the spin-off, I hated the seme and feel kinda upset that the sequel was worse than I expected, but the sweet ending cheered me up. The mini sequel is the best and wished that they expanded on the sequel rather than writing KHNS.

That was such a wonderful story! I couldn't read the novel but judging from this Sunahara-sensei did a wonderful job writing the novel. Everything was realistic and sweet, a perfect combination of drama and romance. I really liked the characters, Hasebe (the seme) was really cute (especially in the first part when he always thought such cute things about Yomura), and Yomura (the uke) was a really memoriable chara too. I could totally understand his problems through the two parts of the story, and really, right now I'm grinning to my ears and I feel so unbelievable happy after finishing the discs. biggrin Of and I almost forgot to mention that the author wrote beautiful lines, I was deeply impressed. So artistic.

AND the voice acting was truly great. Ono Daisuke x Kamiya Hiroshi - what's more there to ask?! Ono was great as always but it was Kamiyan who made this drama really perfect. He has such a nice, soothing voice, and I was especially awed at the parts when his chara Yomura sobbed/cried... it was absolutely believable and heartbreaking and awww. They made a cute couple.^^

And about the H-scenes (I know you're interested in that bigrazz ) - OHMIGOD! Not too much (I liked it that way), but sweet and emotional and passionate. biggrin I loved how they didn't make extremely loud panting/crying/moaning sessions from them (like most dramas), but they were still very loving and hot, and... Maa, Kamiyan was just GREAT. His bed-voice is so cute and sexy. x3

Miike's illustrations were a nice add to the story. Frankly, the only thing that bothered me during the whole drama was that everyone spoke so damn slowly. I always had to stop or at least slower my reading.

Honestly, I'm incredibly grateful to Namonai for translating both of the discs to English. (the translations (and links to the CDs) are available in their site in .pdf format) Don't leave this out of your life, or you will miss something really beautiful. Highly recommended!
