Manga is very good Indeed worth a read!!

The manga is truly good and while its not like conan in some ways that's a good thing. The artwork is top notch and even though its an ecchi manga it works well with this type of manga. People say it could be better but so can any manga. I had no problem with the ending as not all stories have happy endings that the person may want. There's a lot of times when relationships don't work out despite what happens in life. Some people just want the ending to be the way they perceived it should have been and that's BS if you ask me. The author felt it should end this way as that's how he felt it should end. To bad this didn't have an anime as i'm sure they could have fleshed some parts out more.

Very good, but could have been a little bit better

The manga was great despite the simplicity of the storyline, the art was excellent, the depiction of corruption in the department is a strong point (although I felt it borderline ridiculous in the lieutenant's case; thank God he disappears for most of the manga when he should have been charged for sexual assault).

Among the rare things which dissapointed me, the open-ended conclusion was not a good one in my book and I was expecting a way better evolution of the relationship between Asami and Harada. When I think the latter does other women (his innocent boyish charms are a real woman magnet), I think the mangaka could have created more situations in which him and Asami could have gone all the way (especially towards the later stages). It's not like beyond-duty relationships are uncommon between 2 young cops who act as partners.

Overall: have a look at it, it's recommendable.

The mystery is okay, but could be better. Entertaining, certainly, but not of the highest calibur.

The ecchi... I'm not sure if it detracts from the story or adds to it. With so little translated, it's hard to say for sure where it will go, but the ecchi is mostly used to show corruption, particularly within the police force.

However, a lot of story elements -- in particular ones revolving around the ecchi moments -- are pretty ridiculous. The liutenants absurdity would easily get him in trouble (take the cop who is most dumb, brash and corrupt in real life and flanderize him) and it would be way too easy to file sexual assault charges against him. And some of the things he makes Sgt Manda do would easily get her fired. For people who can gloss over that, there is no concern. For others, it will bother them enough to suck out the meanings of the scenes.

Could have been done better. Like the previous reviewer, I would have preferred either a straight up hentai or a more serious work.

I chanced upon the raw of this after being recommended by a peer.

Of the various elements this represent, I think most are intrigued by mystery and the ecchi aspects. The mystery part's done nicely; it's not Kindaichi or Detective Conan level, but there are well thought out scenarios. However, the ecchi aspect's pretty much to represent the corruption in the department. I find them really distracting from the story. Some of them are really forced and ridiculous. Nonetheless, the art is really good.

One thing quite disappointing is the ending's really open ended. It showed the growth of the main character, but I don't feel like it's a good conclusion.

I would rather this be a hardcore hentai or pure mystery than a mix. The elements are not really blend in nicely for my enjoyment.

Mellow, mellow... who told you to make a review like that?!

I gotta see this... really, I gotta see this. At least to see if it's any good, you know. Report back later, buddies!

EDIT: well well... It has potentials. Nice arts, okay comedy scenes, many sex scenes, and it try touching some problems in Japanese police world (much like Team Medical Dragon and Japanese hospitals). The problems however are numerous:

Storyline: It's still in potential stages. how it unfold will depend on the mangaka and it still can wreck the manga. Of course it's still early to tell, but you never know.

Arts: nice tits, great asses. clear cut and clean. no criticize there.

Characters: same as storyline, they are depended on the abilities of mangaka. IF mangaka screwed up they may be hated for being despicable (as in Haru yo Koi, startup full of potential but end up so despicable).

Overall, as a sneak peek at this manga, I recommend it.

Truly love this manga and for those who are scared off by the adult/mature label please don't be. It is not hentai. Hentai's focus is on the sex. The sex in asami is to show the relationship between subordinates and their bosses. It's mature and adult not hentai. The point of hentai is to get you off. This is not what comes across in asami. If that were so asami would have had sex already. Please give this great manga a change as I have as well as many others. You will not be disapointed. Truly a spectacular police manga and it just gets better.
