Description
"All girls can become cute"
What a lie… thinks Yuni. That Yuni could change like this is because of the new brothers she got through her father's second marriage, Yamato and Hiroto, who persuaded her to perform in an audition.
But Hiroto confesses to Yuni, who formerly got bullied for her "squish-face", so she's determined to become cute! What will be the conclusion for love and the audition?!

It's not bad, good plot, and it's well drawn. Like another commenter below me I also became a little bored with the words "cute" and "squish." Also, I prefer when the lead heroine is able to stand on her own two feet a little more than this. Overall it wasn't too bad... I've certainly read manga with MUCH more annoying leading ladies! smile

"I'm just a squish"

The words squish, cute and can't are on constant repeat throughout this title. First two chapters were especially hard for me to get through because they were particularly full of insecure lameness and maudlin pathetic attempts at kawaii romance. The main lead is a nice guy, quite likeable, very much like Yagami Rina's general bishies, a bit intense and passionate, but never forceful. The girl goes through this journey of self discovery of her confidence. So maybe it's better for a younger audience or someone who may appreciate such a premise, but for me, it got tiring after a while. Character development is pretty solid though, even if marred by the childish and trite inner monologues.

The only draw in this for me is Yagami Rina's art which isn't as sharp as it is in more recent titles.

It's got a good plot, I think. I mean, it's really frustrating trying to organize everything because nothing is explained well and it's all kind of just randomly put together. However, I've only read the first chapter but that's the sort of impression it gives you, if you really pay attention to the writing style at all. During the whole first chapter, I just questioned what was going on and when they were going to explain it. I'll keep reading and hoping it gets better, but who knows.
