For clarification, there are two versions of Pinocchio. The first got canceled and there was a reboot. I was a little confused, so here is how the two beginnings will look:

The correct one (the reboot) begins when the main character buys a necklace from shady vendor, and she sits on the bench next to the blonde ghost

The incorrect one (cancelled) begins when the main character buys a necklace from a normal store, and she trips over the blonde ghost

Also, there is a prequel called One Winter which should be read first (It isn't necessary to read it, but the main series does refer back to it a few times)

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Since Gaon wish he's alive to be with Haram, he will be alive. He remember his sad past and able to accept it. All these things because his weak heart that indirectly create his other self which is full of lingering feeling to the necklace.

My gosh, this story is lovely.
First off, the art is great! I love webcomics, but this one is especially hilarious (in terms chibi-ish art and character's reactions) probably among my favorites. The plot is surprisingly in good original taste - I don't think I know many shoujo comedies that can be very silly and sweet with a sorrowful and serious premise (one involving death and ghosts). At the same time, it is not predictable, or at least to my limited foreseeing abilities. I genuinely don't know how things will play out or who will end up with who. And it's also a bonus that the characters are less typical and innocent. I've never seen two male leads so different and refreshingly pure (because they dont think of love as a priority). And the main girl isn't bad herself. Just really good main characters over all (including the friends, they're funny).

P.S. If you do read this story I advise you not to read Part 1 (it's basically just a dropped version of part 2 due to company changes by the mangaka). Didn't know this, and was confused as heck -__-

Hilarious! And Beautiful.

Wow, this one is awesome! I can't say I understand the title and I have no idea where that came from but this manhua is so funny I've been laughing myself to death. Funny in a silly way, but it's great. The art is also a good quality and matches the story well. I'm a little sad that the artist decided to redo the story from the beginning (I thought the first version was funnier) but with the new plot twists and mysterious aspects I can forgive it, and it's still great.

update: I can see now why the artist redid the plot. The first version was still funny but in terms of making a more interesting and emotional story that can stand up on its own two legs and keep me waiting weeks for each new chapter with bated breath-- nice job! And it still was hilarious at parts. I loved the ending (which says a lot) and the characters really had me rooting for them. Plus I now understand the Pinocchio title because the author explained it. She says it's a spoiler (kind of) though so I won't reveal that here. Read it!!!

Un-predictably Awesome

This manhwa may seem predictable, and in fact in some ways is, but just when you think you know how it's gonna end BAM Maru slaps you in the face with a surprising twist. This manhwa is a pretty fluffy read, while it does deal with all the problems surrounding Ga-On and what happened to him everything had an overall happy shoujo ending. That doesn't mean that it's your stereotypical shoujo though, Pinocchio has beautiful art, fleshed out (not so much Haram) main characters, and a well thought out plot. If all else fails you should read it for the comedy, Haram's face when she pervs on Han-Bit is hilarious.

EDIT: Oh, and it's worth mentioning you don't have to read the prequel, One Winter, to read Pinocchio (I didn't) although it would help clarify some references.

the story has comedy and plot that keeps you reading
i loved the prequel to this and then had to start this
thought it was just comedy but the story develops slowly and keeps you hooked
i must admit that the story is not fast paced but i think it is worth the wait
the characters are soo cool and funny and have total control of your feelings (or maybe i just get too easily emotional)

Funny, entertaining, suspenseful

Really hilarious. The characters are altogether really likable, and the main heroine is never annoying or weak like most shoujo females tend to be.

That said, I feel like this story has dragged on for a very long time. There are a good number of irrelevant side stories that occur which could really have been left out.

The romance is suspenseful and you're never really sure what's going to happen. Even now, with the translation unfinished, I have no idea who really likes who or who will end up where.

The art is pretty nice, but more importantly, the perspective and placement in each panel is incredible. The artist does a good job of positioning subjects for drama and other intended effects. I typically don't like full-color webtoons, but this one doesn't feel flat or gaudy at all, like many seem to be.

Pretty high quality read all in all!

Sweet but lacking

So i Finished Pinnochio. A love story between a ghost and tomboy. I think a good way to summarize this series would sweet but lacking. I found the *non-main* drama kinda pointless. Like the drama around the characters that aren't the FMC or MMC. Not to say it was badly written but pointless. I thought that most of the characters were indeed hilarious though it did ruin some serious moments with its unnecessary use of comedy at times. Its a short 7 volumes series. Nothing too much to talk about. Its a pretty straightforward love story albeit the fun premise. I just feel like there weren't any real HIGH moments in this series. But its not like this series dipped in quality either (Except maybe Part 4 which was also the best part go figure). I feel like the author took one risk and though it payed off it wasn't enough for me to say that this series is a must read and instead just kinda devolves to kinda good. I do think the series was kinda slow till like the last half of part 3 but i enjoyed the SOL elements in the beginning as well. As for the main drama and the surrounding itself. I think it was done well on how it started and what it was. But everything calmed down way too easily. There was noticeable lack of tension in the last 4th of part 4 as compared to the beginning. Overall though i had fun and its good but its not really a must read.

6/10
