Like I don't get Maddie's thoughts 1/2 the time. It was just like "OH! My friend's child looks cute, so I want one now" O____________O and gives no forethought to how daunting and difficult the task is. BUT, since she is so good looking and the art is beautiful I'll just forgive her :P
I really enjoyed this one-shot as I do with most josei romances. The story is realistic - a woman seeking to get a baby without a partner due to her emotional disconnection with men after not having a stable father figure. The characters are strong and true to themselves. They overcome their personal challenges while defining their identities in order to finally communicate their love to each other.
