Description
From Girls' Generation Scanlations:

It seems like some parts were elaborated well in the series. But you'll get the overall view of what the author is trying to convey in the story. Regarding the rape scene, I can only say that the bar that he used to work at was full of horny jerks and drug addicts?! It's a little random for me to say. The guy just went on saying, "I want special service," got rejected, beat up the main character and raped in some other day after drugging him. -.-

But overall, the family scenes warm my heart. Not a bad story.

I liked the idea, and the overall atmosphere and art were great, but the plot wasn't executed well. There was waaay too much left unexplained that it left the entire story feeling incomplete. About the only thing that was given by the end was that the two main characters had fallen for each other. But Fumichi's violent interactions with his customers, his past which was introduced and never revisited, how on earth he was even able to live without earning any money, having no concept of money management, and how he came to be in his very strange situation are completely ignored by the end. All in all, without having any explanations to any of this, the author brought too much attention to what the story lacked rather than what it offered.

The art and the atmosphere of this manga were so great. I really wanted to give this a better rating, but I couldn't.

It makes me sad that the explanations for the things that were happening in this manga were merely superficial or even nonexistent.

Fumichis past wasn't clarified. Why his customers treated him badly wasn't really regarded either.


However, I still enjoyed reading it very much, because of the vibe it gave me. So I can still recommend this manga.

Iyo-chan is so adorable! And about the manga...it seems pretty okay...very simple art and story and at times, I don't really get what the characters are trying to say, and I've got no choice but to re-read some part. The random rape thing seems awkward...and the story behind Fumichi's background isn't very clear...all in all, everything is too random. But I guess there's a plus point somewhere.

It was a nice read, not anything special but still a pleasant read
The characters aren't really developed but I still fell in love with Iyo (she's adorable!)
If you're just looking for something short, sweet, and relaxed this is recommended

I'm afraid I'm missing something here. The characters were painfully underdeveloped and often incomprehensible. There were many things which were unrealistic and many other things which just had no explanation at all. I have so many questions. It has a different feel to it than most, but lacks anything to back it up.

It scares me how the
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
rape of Fumichi by a crazy customer
is easily accepted by him and (supposedly) people around him. (At least Sazawa seems to guess what happened) As said below: Too casual! Fumichi's sad past and state of mind might explain how he gave it no consequence, but it was still quite disturbing.
That said, it's a nice story, with good chemistry between two interesting (and wounded) characters, lots of play on the atmosphere, the expressions, etc. Fumichi is the type you want to hug to comfort, and Sazawa is the soothing, reassuring type. So you cheer them on, and the story feels warm yet bittersweet at times.
I hope the end of the story is a happy one, and I hope I'll be able to read it someday... >_<

The character's actions don't make much sense at times, but it didn't make me want to stop reading. The art's also really nice, which is a huge plus. Although it has a

random rape scene that's taken too casually (even for a yaoi!) and that confused me
, it gives such a warm and fluffy feeling, and it just makes me happy when the couple's together~

Recommended when you're craving for hurt/comfort or good art with cute characters.
