THE COLOUR OF DESIRE
Kathleen's dream was to be a vocalist. That was until the accident that left her with an injured leg. Despite this, her music teacher, Sister Cecily, takes her to an audition. Kathleen is a classical musician, but the audition is being judged by Morgan Llewellyn, a world-famous musical composer. Kathleen performs as best as she can, but the fiercely masculine and overbearing Morgan coldly tells her that she could never be a star.

For Josei, the story line has the usual works, but has more dramatic moments flooded with emotions. There are times when the story seems quite rushed, but this is almost always present in a one-shot. The art is more realistic in the aspect that the characters are not beautiful, perfect humans (and this is definitely true for their character traits). The plot is enjoyable even without knowing any references to classical music/opera.
