Tong Danwei is a high school freshman with romantic dreams about the boy she is fated to meet. While on the way home from picking up groceries, she runs into a pretty boy, and that’s where our story begins. Will she find love in high school? And more importantly, will any boy be able to overlook the fact that although she is in high school, she still looks like an elementary student?? I recommend this story to those of you who enjoy light, happy shoujos without the weak female leads and insensitive cold male leads. While this story might seem very typical it's actually surprisingly good. The heroine is just too cute that it's impossible not to learn to like her plus she's not completely diwitted. The male lead actually has feelings in contrast to those usual cold and unfeeling male leads that you see in other shoujos. Oh and as an added bonus this story doesn't include any unnecessary drama.

One thing that a good shoujo manga/manhwa should possess would be that the heroine should not be annoying. And I found Dan Wei not annoying. She's really cute and adorable though for me, she's a little bit normal/plain compared to other heroines. But I don't think that would be a disadvantage of the manhwa. Character-wise, all of them are likeable. I even liked their whole class.
No exaggerated love triangle or bully-like situation which were refreshing and good. The slight drama blended well with its comedic side. And I found the hero really funny especially towards the end.
Also, great art.
Recommended for people who are looking for a lighthearted and funny shoujo.

She is soft spoken, but has fire in her. She maybe short and cute, she is Not gullible! She might have an unrequited love, but she aint gonna waste her days crying over it! Just the kinda lead you feel like cheering on for~
To be honest, it was Dan Wei's character that kept me reading this till the end, and although quite cliche at times, it is a breath of fresh air when it comes to a new approach to an old story.

Aw gosh. It's so cute! The plot-line and character development is so sweet, it's perfect. And all the main characters make the story hilarious in a silly and up-beat way. And additionally, DanWei is the epitome of a cute and peppy poodle girl - without being overly fluffy or annoying. Her friends are supportive and like mentioned, funny!
Seriously one of the most enjoyable stories I've read. And it even made me cry at certain parts.
Only thing I'm disappointed over is that it's only 3 volumes long...
But it's a fun read! Give it a shot.

Its plot isn't uncommon among shoujo manga, but I've reread this story a silly number of times now out of fondness. I can't eloquently put my words together in paragraph form, so I'll just make a list of what I love about it.
-The art is "lovely" and distinct, with just a touch of realism.
-The characters are charming and lifelike, even some of those initially introduced as antagonists. They all have backstories that reflect in their personalities, but those backstories aren't necessarily tragic or completely domineering their present. Also, the main group's friendship was fun and true to that of teenagers who tease but also care for their best friends.
-There are numerous tropes and cliches used in the story, but they never unfold into the same level of a soap opera or anything. The dilemmas the characters face are handled with reason and don't leave me feeling unsatisfied (for the most part).
The ending isn't flawless; it's a little rushed and almost too perfect, but it is happy and fulfilling all the same.
Lovely Everywhere fits perfectly in the shoujo genre, so it definitely isn't for everybody, but for shoujo readers, I would recommend it to the moon and back.

It gives me a lot of laughs and fluffy feelings so in joyed it. I guess you can say it a safe sail kind of love. No dramatic climax nor drop in the storyline. I love all the characters and their friendship is just adoring!!! Very sweet. My fav character will prolly be Kui or Xian... or Liang Xian. XD I didn't really like Yan Lan though. The comedy was superb. 
I have such a huge weakness for little kids and old men..! sob.
That said, though; this is a great story. It's hilarious, it's strong, it's sweet, and it's just long enough not to drag on. I definitely recommend it.
EDIT: Two years later, I read this again.. and it was so, so adorable! homg! I'm glad to know I had good taste as a 20-year old.

omg i love danwei's character so much!! she is soooo cute i'm going to combust T_T AND what i love the most is that she wasn't crying over her unrequited love.

one thing that bothered me is.. i don't know why but i feel like the development of ml's feeling towards fl was a bit rushed. for 12 chapters i always thought that the ml was just feeling guilty or he had some kind of "i want to protect my friend/my little sister" type of feeling, or something like that.. so when the love rival appeared i honestly was happy about it lolol.

It was OK. Very cute. My main complaint is that the couple got together too late. It would of been nice to at least have a couple of chapters of them dating.

You read the chase for 3 volumes and then the guy finally gives in and confesses on the very last page of the manga. it would of been so much cuter and sweeter to a little time with them as a couple. I mean after she chased the boy so hard, I would of at least like to seen her reaction to finding out his feelings. I always fine last page confessions disappointing.
