One day, a young man is found unconscious outside the shared-household where Ayato lives. Despite the warnings of one of his housemates, Ayato lets the person live with them temporarily. It turns out that the young man is Ryou, who used to be Ayato’s childhood friend back when he was two years old. Both of them had previously been separated since eleven years ago, but are now reunited.

Ayato, filled with happiness as he reminisces about their early memories, is gradually drawn to Ryou. However, Ryou appears to be glum with melancholy, as if he's hiding something important…?!

We present to you a fresh new story of innocent affection! A Secret Love Story set under the same roof!

This really did have some potential. I really love the art. The story could have been more developed. I mean, not much really happened in 9 chapters. Some backstory would have been great too.

story: bad job
art: good job

Story and art was done by two different people so I have complains only towards one od them. Manga has a slow pace but in a bad way.Characters development... is there any? I ended up disliking main couple and wishing to see more of secondary characters, like Taki and Asato, they deserve a better treatment.

Anti-climatic and lacklustre

I actually like the artwork in this manga (the content's looks much better than the cover art), but other than that I really do think the artist still needs to have a lot to improve regarding her manga panels and story-telling. Being able to draw is one thing, capable of telling a coherent and relatively engaging story through the manga format is an entirely different case.
Of course she is not solely to be blamed, as the plot that the author came up with is not that original or exciting either. Not only that, the narration feels unnecessarily clunky and unfocused, I mean, it's not that complicated a story, and winds up very lacklustre with no comprehensible development. The inclusion of side characters feels especially gimmicky; I get that they're there to get the main couple progress, but leaving them all unresolved at the end like that just makes it too obvious they're merely plot devices to be thrown aside once they've served their purposes.

That guy Taki who was the third wheel all along gets really weird treatment and I'm not comfortable with that at all. I know he could never end up with his crush, but his progression as a character just feels so wrong; basically his forcing his way with Ayato was just an example of him being cheaply reduced to a factor helping to speed things up for the main characters. How he's stuck as the third wheel trope even in end in order to induce some cheap and silly comic relief is another example. The fact that everyone in the manga is okay with that also doesn't sit right with me and comes across even worse.

I honestly still have a lot more to complain about, but just don't want to end up writing an essay. Long story short, reading this manga was not a very enjoyable experience even if I weren't so analytical, so consider yourself properly warned.
