Fans of the Uncharted video game series will feel a bit resentful to find a similar tale expressed in simple explanations and without the mystery.

Doesn't necessarily spell 'infringement' but it doesn't bring anything new and desirable to the table either. 666 Satan technically had the same rules and regulations but with a much more complex and intricate storyline. But that's 666 Satan and not a 39-page One-shot.

Without comparing this to anything else, I can safety say that the characters are indeed agreeable to the story but some of the techniques used in the story are too cheesy and overused, it dulls the progression to create a dialogue worth almost nothing to develop the story. They might as well have spoken gibberish the entire way.

I'll give Hiro Mashima some points for his art, and this One-shot was relatively easy to read, but some of his other works are honestly much too difficult to get into. He just throws way too much information at the readers face, expecting us to believe ridiculous plots and then starts his stories in an orderly fashion.

Sorry for the biased remarks, I know a few some who believe Hiro Mashima's works are creative and original, and I'll respect the hype for Fairy Tail, but It'll take a lot more to convince me of his greatness than this shoddy piece of work. It gets an average (maybe even lower than average) grade from me.
