I don't know how to feel about this story really. I commend it for being so well-structured and realistic. The difficulties they face and the misunderstandings are all believable, there's no excess drama and the usual hype at the ending was significantly toned down. Though these are all good things to a point, it was too mild and anticlimatic somehow so I just couldn't get behind the characters and really root for them because I really didn't care that much what happened to them. To put it plainly it was a bit boring. The art was good though... Meh...

Was this a sequel to something? It really did not feel like a stand alone piece. We don't know the characters at all, they randomly throw in dramatic backstory with no further explanation and then we suddenly jump in to minor drama between these two characters who we don't care about yet. If it was a sequel, perhaps it wasn't bad, but if it truly is just this then I'm a bit confused.

This is a magnificent oneshot that I would love to see turned into a series. It rivals Taiyou no Kikoushi for brilliance. The drawing is superb as is the characterization and plot. A nice short story. Kudos to Obsession.
