incredible perfection

I had given up on ever finding a shounen-ai/yaoi/BL manga that had a realistic depiction of a relationship, but I can safely say that this is the closest one I've come to it. It's--really incredible of a something. It transcends the stereotypes typically employed by this genre. I don't know what it is about the difference between the material that a manga and doujinshi (other than the fact that one self-published) look at, but I can safely say this is astounding.

I love it. Their romance is subtle, their relationship bound by realistic worries and fears. Tsuji's worries and tendencies when he gets into a new relationship are refreshingly just like mine (that kind of concern and worry and insecurity that comes with it); Aizawa and Tsuji's relationship actually shockingly does have the feeling of friends (they've got their flaws, tendencies, and kind of habits), and it works out so well. I'm disappointed by a lot of the overdramatizations found in manga (like, it's not bad, but in the end, sometimes I want something like this), so this...I love it? What a find.

I actually quite like the characters and the setting for this manga tbh. They're both quite to my usual liking of normal slice-of-life mangas. Even if there really isn't an actual plot it could still have been quite okay for me, as long as the delivery of the 'slice-of-life' aspect is properly handled. That is not quite the case here I must admit, as shocking as that may sound to many people. I know that there wasn't supposed to be a lot of drama or angst but mostly just rosy love and fluff, and I'm okay with that, I just wanted to ask for a bit more depth and substance, is all. It doesn't need to be heavy stuff, even a bit more logic would be fine. I hope it wasn't only me who found certain developments within the story rather more convenient than logical. If the manga had stayed silly then I wouldn't have much to complain, but because it wanted to steer more serious, I also would naturally demand more than what was offered. Perhaps I was a bit harsh on this one, it's still an overall quite alright manga, I just wanted to voice my true opinion I guess.

At first I was reading the yes_rhade version(only 3 chapters but still they've done great job) and I thought it wasn't the best of asou kai and was kind of okay. but then after i found out that there were more chapters (the september scans) and read it, it became my fav. It isn't only-sex kind of manga or over dramatic. This manga is more slice of life. the problem they had is believable.
To sum it up, one of the great manga out there you should read

i love how nicely asou kai sensei creates these simple slice of life stories without falling into most common bl traps. her art is super cute but not overly feminine and her characters are endearing and relatable. i cried for tsuji's devastating heartbreak!

that said i wanted to knock aizawa out a few times for his unbearable insecurity and lack of communication skills. i guess there has to be glaring cliched flaws in at least one character, but i wish it had been carried out in a less frustrating manner.

It's a great and heartwarming story! There is not much happening, but just the combination of fluff and smut (no cheesiness btw) that keeps this story going! (I actually didn't really notice the smut that much, but it's apparently 50% smut! embarrassed)
This is not about a sad or painful love, but more a feeling where friends realize "hey I actually love you.. like that!". I love the dialogue tpo as well as funny extras haha especially from the dumb, but lovable Tsuji.

Definitely recommend this smile

Good sex scene

Well, we have to admit that it's hard to find a good gay sex scene in yaoi. Some of them are too short, some of them are so cheap like a porn (especially the conversation). But this manga presents the sweet love-making scene without cheap conversations or too romantic, but yet still we can feel the love :3

Well done smile

I most appreciated that the relationship between the two was equitable on both sides, and the uke was especially proactive at moving the relationship along (it wasn't at all like the usual seme-master/uke-slave dynamic).

I love this story. The story is not just sex and romance like other yaoi. You can see the people and issues around them and how they're in this together. Such a heart-warming and gentle read.

I can't believe how something that was already good enough for me to come back and reread( even thou it felt incomplete with only those three chapters) it turned out to be SO amazing ! I just adore the characters, they match each other so well and the uke is cutely silly and... surprisingly sexy xD (well the whole thing is rather hot as I took even trouble to count the pages and it turned out that the 50% of the chapter was a really good smut... xD). Even thou one of them for a while was truly an IDIOT ( those who read know what I mean) I still didn't get annoyed... Anyway as for me absolutely great read.
Waaa the ending is so freaking perfect and the extra was so funny (like always) -> one of the best yaoi I have ever read xD

Slice of lifey it is

Again the mangaka did it, with no much really happening, she still managed to keep me hanging on (does that make sense? I don't even know, well I'm not fluent nor bilingual so bare with me).

Many will think that it is soporific or close to, well you must not forget that it isn't a manga but a doujinshi first, and second it is a slice of life pace, so you have to at least enjoy the genre or else you'll get bored for sure!!!!

The two characters aren't really introduced to us, they do know each other, but how did they meet isn't explained. They are both salarymen and often go drinking together, but we don't know if they work in the same place either. With all that being said, that wasn't even important to me, cause I like the interaction between the two of them, and there wasn't any unnecessary fussing or annoying hesitation.

In the end quite a light read but still enjoyable for my taste.
