I don't...w,,,I'm dumbfounded. Not one of Fuwa's best. It tried to have all the problems of forbidden love and age gap, but...it fell apart. That older brother is a badman. I don't mean the sexy yaoi "badman". I mean stranger danger. i don't think anyone really realized how inappropriate his actions were, because the author made it seem like it was okay and usually in yaoi world it is. I'm usually against age gaps, but the author persuades you into believing it's okay because of true love (and that the couple looks hot together) like Kokoro (KANDA Neko). I can't. I'll finish this later...maybe. Basically it's an okay manga if you're really bored.

So far the worst yaoi that i ever read...

The story is full of cliches which i don't normally mind (actually i even seek manga with some of my fav cliche plots), but here they are presented really badly. It's kinda fast paced, i read the whole 7chps in about 10-15min and no it's not because there are a lot of sex scenes (there are not much of those actually) which i normally just skim through. I guess that can tell you how "deep" the story was.
Characters? Imagine a combination of all the annoying characters you have read in every single manga (you know the female bi*chy/helpless/whiny type that most shounens have) and imagine that it's a one person - that's the uke in this manga. The seme was a bit more on the reasonable side, but why the hell is he tolerating this pms-ing guy, seriously. I have no idea why the uke acts the way he does, i can't find an explanation, at least not a reasonable and non confusing one.

It wasn't bad

First off, I'm a sucker for step-sibling love stories and 90's BL so that probably made me like this more than I would have otherwise. Like others said, there wasn't really much character growth in the story; rather a revealing of character and reasoning behind the protagonist's personality. It feels unfinished to me and like the final chapter was decided to be the ending after it was already half written. The girl seemed to be destined for a greater purpose that was never used. The parents at times were almost painfully ignorant. There was so much more that could have been done with this manga. It almost makes me sad to think of how good it could have been.

Overall it wasn't bad, just don't expect a neat, answer filled ending. Reading this manga won't hurt you, but there's certainly nothing striking about it.

The uke is a bit annoying and loud, always shouting for stupid reasons :/ OMG and the girl is SUPER annoying, why was she even in the story? makes you want to stab her with a spoon or knock her out with a trash can -___- The only character I liked was the seme, very patient, I don't understand why he fell for the uke but I guess that's how love works? Good for a light read, so so plot. ^-^

What was the point of having the girl character in the manga? She doesn't really impact any of the characters or influence any character development. Also what was the point of having the friend having the accident in the last chapter? It's a bit extreme and it really doesn't really change their relationship all that much

Well, you uke was really angsty and a bit annoying, but the manga dealt with real life feelings such as a guy having to get married and how insecure gay men would feel about it..

Wow, this is so painful to read!! The uke was so annoying and also the girl aswell.
Whoever put comedy/romance in the edit genre must be reading a different manga. I like the seme and i pity him for putting up with all the tantrums and insecurity the uke has.
The ending was kinda out of the picture but meh

The dilemma in the first chapter is the same dilemma plaguing the protagonist in the last chapter. There's little character growth, except possibly the fact that the protagonist finally confessed. Other than that, it's the same cycle.

Point?

There were a lot of choppy parts to this story...(What was the point of the girl who holds similar emotions as Ryouchii?) and a lot of the motivations for the character's love were unbelievable and one-dimensional. Ryouchii, desperate to be needed and wanted --indispensable--to someone, falls for the son of his mother's new husband. But it wasn't convincing.

To be fair, it could be the awkward English translation that makes the characters' lose their compelling nature and ability to connect with the reader.

not bad for a light read

erm, the story is not bad and the art is sweet but I really didnt see any special point about Ryouchii. he is a full mouth brat with a confused personality and he is not even handsome. seriously why Shin was so serious about this brat had become a mystery to me. bigrazz

Anyway, as I said the story is not bad but the feeling of love between siblings was not the most strongest point of this story. at the end, when I finished it the whole thing left me feeling kind of empty and disappointed.
