I along with many others fell in love with this series... but sadly our love isn't enough to support the author. It's an amazing series, but don't get your hopes up about finishing it since the author him/herself contacted the scanlators asking them to cease and desist. I guess our only other option is to start learning Korean...

Excellent yet equally depressing

That's probably one of the things that makes this so work so good, how it manages to thrust these negative emotions upon us. The comedy is quite good when it appears, but the contrast is such that i often forget to laugh.

Beware of this one as it is not completely translated and it doesn't look like it will be anytime soon [translation halted due to translator leaving group]. This means that after ch11 we're left with a melancholy feeling with no clue as to whether the ending will be happy or just as depressing as many of the previous chapters.

That said, it is excellent.
EDIT: The group didn't resume because they were later contacted by the author (or maybe it was the publisher) and asked to stop. They were in talks to find a compromise but that went on for a very long time and another group took over.
EDIT: Ok, it's all translated now and it does lighten up in the last ten chapters, at least i think it does. The final chapter seemed a tad of a let-down but it's a little bit better than if it were to have ended with chapter 26 (which would have been acceptable but when i read it i was thinking 'i hope there's one more chapter')

Splendid

The art is great, with its dark ambience. Since I am not yet used to webtoons, this stands out amongst others pretty much. Also, there is a sense of surrealism, especially how one character who was supposedly handsome was drawn in an awkward way, which reminds me much of Oyasumi Punpun.
Now in terms of story, I find it very depressing at first, but at the end of every chapter, the author makes it a point to make its readers cling to hope. It doesn't take time in building up the story and does not infodump, which makes reading it quite clear.
The characters are very likeable, especially the protagonist, who actually is very realistic. The magician's rhetoric is something, but not unique in comics, but how he ascribes his belief makes the read more worthy of time.

Overall, I highly recommend this webtoon to everyone.

This story made me cry! I mean I barely ever cry to these things but this story/webcomic had my heart in my throat the entire time till I had to let it out. Absolutely one of my favorites with it strange but amazing characters. I give this a rating of 11/10 if I could! Try it, you may just fall head of heels for it!

AMAZING

Most amazing thing I've ever read. I live for this kind of dark, creepy story. It has a similar atmosphere to a Grimm fairytale or a poem by Edgar Allen Poe. The series is full of symbolism too, even the characters' names. The art really beautiful too in a raw, emotive way, twisting reality of the pages. Like the creator's use of colors... Light pink lips, yellow blossoms scattered over the page, the red mailbox... It's really cool against the black and white. When I scroll down the page, I feel like I'm watching a paper puppet show, that's the style of this. As if a magician is telling the story. The webcomic layout is cool, specially with snowflakes and stars, it looks like they're moving. I'm new to webcomics, so it's a breath of fresh air to me. I love it.

At first I didn't know what to think of this manga, it was just so... weird! But by the end of the first chapter, I was unquestionably in love with it. Despite all that makes it odd, at times it is surprisingly deep. This comic has nothing to hide, it is what it is, and that's all it's going to give you. If you don't like it the way it is, being absolutely unique and bizarre, then look somewhere else! For the rest of you who enjoy finding something different, read this and you won't be disappointed.

The way the story is presented in this just leaves you in awe. The art in this has a sense of difference, yet, beauty, one not seen in your typical comic. It is an intriguing, yet magnificent read in my opinion and a recommendation for anyone looking for a new read.

So unique! All the previous reviews have basically said everything. The color changes and the way images are shown emphasize so much more in this story. This manwha has compelled to write my first review, so I encourage everyone to read it! (Btw I can't wait to see Il Deung's real face.. but I also love that the author portrayed him with the big head in the beginning.)

It's absolutely gorgeous! The way some scenes are played out is actually brilliant. For example, there's this one scene where the path she runs on is made of bills. By doing so, the author is able to create a, "Magical," feeling for the reader, which helps the storyline since it's about a magician/magic, and a girl living in poverty. The story is flawless, and it doesn't look like it will stray from it's path. Not to mention that it's quite interesting (Looking at it's RAWs, it seems like things are getting even more interesting).

After reading the RAWs to this webcomic, in regards to the character development...I haven't seen much in the main character, but she is getting there. The magician is in the same situation as Yun Ai, in terms of character development. Surprisingly, for Il Deung, his character really develops A LOT in the coming chapters of the webcomic. In my opinion, Ha Il-Kwon drew his head that way was to show the inside of the character. He's troubled by many things- He is handsome (See ch. 22/You finally see how he really looks like), but, even he has his own problems, and being handsome, and rich doesn't change that. The emphasis on his head is to further emphasize his inner demons.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to the future chapters of this webcomic! I'm going to give this a 10/10 for now.

Simply amazing

Oddly, this webcomic left me with a bit of an empty feeling inside every time I finished a chapter. The way that it's constructed--partially drawn, other parts with stock pictures, etc. really helps to emphasize the mystique of it all, and leaves the reader hungry for more. I really do sympathize with Yun Ai, and I'm looking forward to reading more about the magician.

It's not intentionally deep, the way that some seinen manga are. But there's this bit of hollowness, this bit of emptiness, that somehow strikes at the inner core of a reader's heart and plays on that childish fantasy we all have, about doing magic.

Although it would be horribly cliche or whatever, I'm hoping that this webcomic will have a happy ending.

10/10
