Description
From Viz: Choko Kuze is the sensible daughter of a venerable family who went bankrupt. She joins a real estate company as an entry-level office worker, but her eccentric boss is harder on her than anyone else in the company! After hearing him inadvertently call her "milady," she realizes he was the young servant boy she knew as a child. At work he's a tyrant, but after hours he insists on treating her like a lady of the nobility. Is romance even possible for a couple locked in such a crazy role reversal?

When I first read this, I find it very intriguing, romantic and laugh-out-loud funny. But eventually, it got very boring especially when hero's ex-girlfriend enters the picture. Somehow, I already knew how the story's going to be ended from that midpoint. Such a shame cause it has a very interesting characters and premise. I just don't like the direction where it's going and was expecting something better.
This manga is light-hearted, art is clean and neat, has comedy that can make you giggle, and it contains some smutty scenes. I've invested my money for 8 volumes... so... what I recommend you is: just buy/read the first 3 volumes. The first 3 volumes make the story interesting and go uphill. I thought that this was by far the best and most interesting of Yoshihara's work, but this thought only stop at the end of volume 3. I would rate Vol. 1- 3 a mark of 9.5/10. From volume 4 to 5, it went to the first stage downhill. Then it further went toward the second stage downhill ownward. Like the commentator "1122shadows" said, "Vacillated between interesting and boring" ---> boring parts come after Volume 3.
Therefore... save the moments of interesting parts (volume 1 - 3) in your heart and skip other volumes since you can already guess its ending by reading the first 3 volumes. Reading beyond Volume 3 can result in disappointment because it (plot) just gets more and more stupid, and not much smutty scenes. I like the side characters such as Suou, Makie and Mikihiko but they don't get much role in later volumes... which sucks out the comedy out of the story. Also, the mangaka just killed the good characterization of the male lead in the later volumes... so it kinda sucks.
Or if you want to proceed beyond volume 3, I suggest you to read til chapter 26, then stop -> just skip other chapters, then imagine the ending.
The ending was kinda rushed... maybe the story could have one or two more volumes to make it interesting. I guess that the let-down (volume 4 onward) was part of Yoshihara's editor's fault. In the sidenote, Yoshihara-sensei did mention that her editor had been changed, and 'this second' editor gave her taglines for gundam-otaku and many stuff in the story... so I don't blame the mangaka but blame on the editor for the letdown. (The mangaka didn't blame on anything, but keeps apologising to the readers in the sidenotes. Anyway, it is I (not the mangaka) who puts the blame on editor for the cause of letdown of the story).
If you want a better and interesting story of the same genre, I recommend Hapi Mari by ENJOUJI Maki sensei
There were times when I was bored out of my mind while there were times when I found it funny. The art was nice, the sex/romance was boring but the side characters turned out to be interesting. Unfortunately, the main character, Kuze was where the problem laid. One minute she's despotic and interesting the next minute she's a whimpy bumbling fool and annoying as can be.
I statred to read this manga because of the comments, although not very favourable, but it cought my attention, and I can say it was worth it. It is just the right amount of everything, commedy, smut and romance. There is a somewhat cliche in the chief-subordinate relationship, but still very cute, and just really funny. which suprised me. The humor is really good, and I laughed a couple of times very loudly, literraly LOL..because of the unexpected storyline at some parts. But the ending was: what the...?!?!. It really is not an ending, and I don't think this is complete manga. Perhaps it went on hiatus, or the mangaka really was forced to cut it like that...I don't know the reason, but its dissapointing. Anyway, good refreshing read, not too time consuming, and I give it a 9.
The ending was kinda blah, it was a let down for me. Maybe a volume or two would have made this a better story. Some of the A-B-C story lines could have been expanded, giving the characters more depth. But Yoshihara Yuki is know for her smutty characters so...whatever. I genuinely liked this manga, so I caved in and bought the remaining three volumes (6-8). This manga in my opinion is one of the best the mangaka has ever produced.
Well all the story was good, cute, sweet and funny, there was action in this manga O_O Men's problems too ...? (for those who read the manga will now, what i'm talking about) BUT hate the end of this story... When I realise that I finish reading I was like: WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF..!?
I read the available chapters and loved it... and I couldn't wait to read more, so I went and read the Chinese version... I got very put-off by the "medicine" they used when the main character got sick - I thought it was too crass. Things didn't get any better and the humor starts to seem repetitive so I give it up! What a pity! I love the artwork and I quite enjoyed 'Venus ni Arazu'!
It's not really how i thought ut would be... Since it's unexpectedly funny and lovable!! And i'm pretty much sure the "mature" genre of this is not really a mature type manga but literally it is mature... I mean... Like fore mature thinker audience BUT! this manga can be read by young adults too.... It's just the wau characters talks here is very mature (there i think i got my point!) I digress... But it's really funny... Definitely reccomend this to everyone who likes a different taste of manga!!! (^_^)
