Potential

I think a rating of 7.5 is for this series is a bit harsh. Yes the characterization has been lacking so far, and the way it travels from an important scene to another, with nothing in between leaves the whole setting a bit underdeveloped. (It's not a manga that really requiers deep characters however, and thats why I rate it so high.)

The idea and the actual content is very entertaining, and you can never guess how any given situation might play out, even if the outcome might be not be quite so (which makes perfect sense for the whole setting to remain relevant.) combine this with the amusing mind games that the main character has to conjure to keep up his facade, makes this a series that I keep coming back to.

I'ts not an extordinary piece of literature, thats to be said, but it works perfectly as a form of silly entertainment and is a series you can be comfortable reading, and at least for me personally it's well worth the 9 rating I gave it.

I think this is one of my guilty pleasures. It's one of those comics which is so bad, that it becomes good. Sure the art isn't great, and the source of the story, as has been stated by many, is ripped off from Angel Densetsu.

HOWEVER, having said that, I found this story to be much more addicting than it's manga counterpart . I actually really love how Ingong isn't a complete douchebag who's naive - he's pretty manipulative. He's not perfect, which I find really refreshing, because too often, like in Angel Densetsu, the male protagonists are cookie-cutter perfect beings or completely evil beings. Ingong's a coward, and proud to be one! xD The creativity in the situations is amazing (I found this to be better than Angel Densetsu in this sense), and man oh man, did this make me laugh. I was literally crying over my computer, because of all the laughing.

Overall, I really loved it. I mean it's not perfect, and the art starts out kinda crappy. The characters are fairly endearing, and the story grows on you after a while. And if you're looking for a laugh, this one is perfect for you. WHEN READING JUST FORGET ABOUT ANGEL DENSETSU. Seriously, just go in with no expectations like I did, and you'll probably enjoy what you come out with.

Pretty funny manga

Like most people said the dialogue the main character says are really funny. The manhwa may be like Angel Densetsu but the comedy is what makes this manhwa good. Even though it's basically the same plot, you can't trash a manga for being generic which most manga's are now. The art is kind of weird but I don't care about the art if the plot is good.

The downside to this manhwa is that there are no character development. We don't know anything about the other characters and we even don't know much about protagonist's life outside of school so that sucks about the manhwa. Another thing is the plot. The first arc was good but the second arc isn't good. The humor for the second arc is not funny at all and it seems like the author is trying to make the plot more serious. Nothing interesting has happened yet so I hope it gets better.

Overall I give this a 8/10 because of the comedy. The manhwa was good at first but with the second arc it doesn't make me excited to read the manhwa right away because its getting kind of boring. I still recommend this manhwa.

Direct copy of angel idea plot formula, i agree...but i still enjoyed it. The art gets better ...oh say just like angel Densetsu.
Although its a copy the idea just never gets old...Its a laugh and thats all I'm looking for.
Its comedy and if you feel like you angel rain was short lived, i suggest reading this.

Stop Comparing

All the comments are comparing this manhwa with Angel Densetsu. Most likely Angel Densetsu led you to his manga because u wanted something similar. Am I wrong? But then the comments start bashing on it because its similar and give a over exaggerated low score. Alright yes the art could use some work but its still readable. I like the plot, characters. Some believe that the things that happen are unbelievable? Of course it is but are you telling me that it will be better if it was believable? These are the questions i ask when i read the comments. This is a good manhwa webcomic and i do recommend it.

If you're looking for a deep, psychological manga, then you should probably look somewhere else- however if you're looking for a mindless fun read look no further! Transfer Student is one of those kinds of manga where you can sit back, relax, and try not to die of asphyxiation while you try to hold back your laughter.

The real gem of this manga is Ju Ingong, the main character. He's snarky, witty, and an absolute wimp (rightfully so) - but he has brains. Brains and luck. Watch as Ju rises to power using nothing but his superior intellect (and by 'superior' I mean that everybody around him appears to some sort of an idiot).

So that's it. It's an easy read. You might like it, and you might not. But I liked it, and it'll probably be worth your time too.

To put it simply, i laughed pretty hard. it was like a different sort of Angel Densetsu. This one reading almost like a parody of the other. The absurdity of the storyline, lack of depth in the plot and the characters leave you feeling like you've just come across watching something like Ong Bak 2 from the theaters. Honestly it is pretty bad web comic filled with unbelievable stories, characters etcetc. But shrug, im feeling generous and the comic did make me laugh hard.

This was like a total copy of Angel D. Similar plot, similar character [ except in Angel D he was always oblivious to the situation and was a kind and sweet character, Ju Ingong is just a coward who tries to trick people into thinking he's strong]

For a new manga, the art is almost unforgivable, I don't know if they wanted it to look that way or not but one panel looked like it was drawn in 5 minutes or less.

The whole "he looks like a badass delinquent that's out for blood" doesn't really work if all the characters [students included] look like him. I mean some of them didn't even have a face that even slightly resembled a face shape.

Given that this web comic just came out and that there are only 7 chapters available I rated it a 3, maybe it will change its storyline, doubt it but maybe. If there were more chapters and it was like the 7 I just read I would've rated it a 1.

Save yourselves the time and energy, just read Angel D. I didn't think it was funny at all.
This is on my I tried it out but will probably never touch again list.
