of course the main focus is romance. however the author also tries to explore the ideas of stereotyping and bias. follow the journey of a vampire who tries to overcome her chilhood fear of being ridiculed and dumped by her human friends(if and when they find out her identity). my personal favourite is the vampire who makes his appearance midway through the story. he makes the story more interesting than the main characters do(the plot's a bit draggy i the middlle).

I feel that the story plot is pretty good for a webtoon. The author managed to pull my heartstrings (T.T in regards to Mari and Jaemin) and it's like I'm watching anime with all the coloured pages and all... it keeps me want to read on and on... hahaha good job to the author.

Overall, even though the story can be a bit draggy at times, but i will still recommend this. Good plot and art.

I started reading this, because the art looked really nice. Well, and art is really the only thing, that makes this readable. The plot itself is stretching far more than I expected, even for shoujo. First, I stopped reading when I finished ch40 - which was a good idea. Then I started reading again and stopped before a new plot started - that was ch71.

It started as being interesting, then annoying and then boring.

When I first started reading, I gave this a 10/10 but now it's just so...boring. Mari is annoying, Jaemin is annoying. I honestly just wish they'd switch the story to that white-haired vampire. I find him a lot more interesting. This is honestly like a typical korean drama where everything is just sooooooo painfully predictable and dramatic. I hate dropping series, and that's probably the only reason I'm still reading this.

This story is much more than what I thought. It's not just about high school, or romance, or drama. The true heart of this story is about discrimination. The story is based in a world where vampires are real and they live among us. Not only that, but they have many rumors about them (many not true) and people hate them with prejudice.
This story is very hard for me to read, but also hard to put down! For many of today's youth (in America but also in many other Western countries), it is hard to imagine this type of deep-rooted hatred of a race or people. However, humans have historically been very prejudice. It was not that long ago (and in some countries - still) that people were banned from living in certain areas just because of the people belonged too. This touches on that subject in a way as to not offend any specific group. If vampires were truly real, how would people react? Would we be friends with them? Marry and love them? Would we throw stones at them or banish them? How about tie them up and burn them like "witches" used to be?
I have not had a series get such strong emotions from me in a long time. Being half white and half "other", I understand all to well what it is like to have people turn up a nose at you. Read this with caution, but I HIGHLY recommend it!
If you have a teen or pre-teen, you might want to read this along with them. It is much more than a love story and might need a few discussions.

I've read through chapter 38, and now I'm gonna drop it for a while. It's not that I don't like it, it's just that the story is moving so slow and a lot of it's just boring. The girl is pretty but she's really hard to deal with and the whole thing is really predictable and cliche. When the comic is complete, I'll pick it back up but I don't want to read the next 40+ chapters and then I'm stuck waiting on the scanlations for a story that moving too slow to begin with. I started to dislike long drawn out slow romance especially when the girl is dishonest, difficult, and resists at every turn. The story is cute, but it could be better. I like the art though.

I am not picky at all, but this is so boring~ When the heroine is boring, the rest becomes boring too. The heroine doesn't take any action so we're basically waiting for everyone around her to create some friction or try to befriend her and that is really disappointing I love slow paced manga, but even with the slowest shoujos, the heroine does something.. The art (characters) isn't quite my taste which I think it's the biggest drawbacks. I can handle a boring story, but combine it with a expressionless art-work and I dropped the manga.

I've read up to the first 30 chapters, but I can't bother reading any further if the first 30c aren't even interesting :-/

Like the others said. . it somewhat became boring and dull. . i find myself just clicking away to see what's happening not bothering myself to read any dialog cause its now a chore. . i think i will drop this soon. .

it was cute in the beginning, but then all this drama started happening because the author wants to drag it out longer. Sometimes I read it if it pops up on mangafox's front page and even though I have skipped a lot of chapters between each read I still understand what's going on, which isn't much.

I don't know... it's just... really boring. I am disappointed, because when they started translating this people were all "Oh wow, so cool and interesting and new and original!" but...it's not. The pattern of the story is overused and boring. And I'm dropping this.
