I'm lost

I really don't understand why this manga has such a high rating. The translation is bad and made me unable to enjoy it and follow the plot. Maybe it is unfair to rate it low because this is not the mangaka's fault, but the translator's. However, can't read Japanese so I'm stuck with the scanlated version, which in my opinion sucks.

I kind of really liked it but ended up deleting it because the translations sucked. It was very interesting though, and I loved the art, but the grammar brought a lone, solitary tear to my eye... ~_T

Is a bit of a dysfunctional mess, actually a lot.....In my opinion they all need psychological help, and their morals are not the most commonly seen around, which for the average person would make reading this manga a little frustrating and confusing. It was hard to read at the beginning and I think some things are lost in translation, which takes away quite a lot and makes it confusing for the reader. Koi and Ai, I'm still racking my brains trying to get complete understanding of the meaning(I've Googled a lot) I guess I need a better knowledge of Japanese to grasp the concept better and maybe the English language doesn't have appropriate terms for those words to be translated properly.

If you feel like smacking and kicking the character a bit while reading, it is an understandable feeling D: I wanted to beat the crap out of them a lot(pardon my French) They lacked a lot in the IQ area, or maybe in common sense? I'm just glad I finished reading it and the ending wasn't tragic, if the mangaka had killed someone off I would have definitely had meltdown -_- I feel a bit drained, but I guess there might be people out there that go through similar circumstances?? I hope not sad I'm a fan of monogamous relationships so I was uncomfortable for most(all) of the manga. Gave it a five 'cause, not sure really. But if you want to read a different kind of YAOI manga then try this one. Happy Reading!!

P.S. For some reason I always end up disliking the women in YAOI mangas -_- they are just....So what if they are both men? butt out D: Love is all you need go find a straight guy <3

Couldn't read it

I couldn't bring myself to read past the first few pages because: *SPOILER*
He made a girl abort a child? Anyone who forces somebody to feel like they need to do that is a terrible person so I felt I couldn't read on. If there is more of a story to that situation then hey my loss but I just couldn't get past it.
Shame though, if it weren't for that it sounds like a really good manga from what everyone else is saying.

Can't believe I made it through the train wreck. I don't know how such this mangaka can make something simple and straight forward into something so convoluted that I feel like bashing my head in. I have never seen a story that goes in an extreme round-about way to get to a point at the end. The plot is round-about, the characters are round-about... The whole manga is one whole messy highway with unexpected corners and bends!

I don't know I stayed through till the end, all I know is that I'm glad that's over with.

Spoiling TL

Is it just me or is the wording of the TL by Nakama quite awkward? I had problems to follow the flow. Weird english. Took a lot of my entertainment. The quality of the scanlation, except the wording, is great though.

I couldn't sympathize with the characters for over 2 volumes, mainly because I didn't understand what they wanted most of the time - one sentence was contradicting the next or had nothing to do with the situation. I think I spent more time to figure out things with the TL than with the story and characters development. ;_; Well good it has pictures.

The pairs were weird.
Both men had girlfriends, ok there's nothing wrong with being bi, but those two girls initially got them together (as lovers) and plotted most their intimate meetings and set up situations for them to be together. One girl (Miku) even got mad when her boyfriend didn't have sex with the other guy - and gets mad when they're too close - um... okay... very weird. The other woman doesn't seem to have any use for her bf but sex and plotting.
I can't comprehend such weird behavior and the two guys had a weird relationship too which I couldn't really understand. That's another point why I didn't sympathize with any char there.

Midway volume 3 it all changed. Many things made sense because they started to explain certain aspects of their behavior. It was a real enlightenment and changed my opinion of the manga (rated it 6 till midway vol 2). The entire story was like a complex plot... which didn't even work out since it was seen through, luckily xD But was very interesting I must say. (No this is no spoiler, because when you get to the point when you notice it you'll be already half way through vol 3)
If just the TL wasn't so crappy I'd have enjoyed it much sooner :S

The problem is the translation

This is a story where the characters keep questioning if love (ai) can be stronger than desire (koi, but koi also means love). This was really hard to translate without make the whole manga loses sense. Even with the confusion caused between ai and koi the story is great, specially because of the humor. It's complex, funny and have a great ending. For me, one of the best yaois I ever read.

The first volume translation kind of made my head hurt. It did eventually get better, but by the end of the second volume I kind of wanted to bash everyone over the head with a very large steel hammer. Eventually I got fed up of everyone's playing mind games on his/her supposed beloved and just stopped reading it.

It's not really my cup of tea, but I suppose I would recommend it to anyone who has an iron patience with those who have zero relationship skills (zero, as in, to the point of absolute stupidity). The art is actually quite good, and there's reversi(ish)! Yay!

all these people deserve to be miserable, they all cheat on eachother without care. one of the guys says he keeps his cheating a secret, to "protect" his girl friend. which is BS he just wants to keep sleeping with her and the other guy. if he wanted to protect her feelings he wouldnt have cheated on her in the first place, or he could have told her so she can find a better guy.
