i probably would have rated this as a 8 or 9 if i went in expecting this to be great from the start, but i didnt... and i'm counting that surprise in as one of it's benefits. from all appearances and description i could never imagine taking anything in this show serious, i thought it would just be a gag comedy to kill the time. now after watching it i still cant believe how pumped i got for all the dramatic scenes and character development. this thing is great just by itself, art, music(in the anime), and characters are all interesting and fun, then when you add in that you would never have expected it to pull you in as it does the effect is amplified. I'm rating this as a 10 simply because the first time reading/watching this i would gamble most people will get the same shock as i did and it will propel enjoyment sky high.
