This series is actually a collection of information about tanks and tank warfare written in plain text (with photos and illustrations of tanks). It may not look like it based on the covers, but cute girls in uniforms (or without them) are somewhat sparse there. There is a page or two of manga with those girls every few pages of text (about tanks).
