Description
On his trip to New York City, college examination student Takeru gets lost in the wrong part of town. He gets attacked, but is rescued by a man named Ray. Touched by Ray's kindness, Takeru can't help being attracted to him. But then Takeru discovers that Ray is the second-highest-ranking mafia man in New York City. Can love overcome such odds?

I think the plot develops too fast. You can't really understand the development of the relationship between the two protagonists.

Furthermore, the only reason why Ray falls in love with Takeru is that he resemble Ray's Ex-Lover, which - in my opinion - is pretty unromantic.
Usually, even when a manga is not that good, I would read it to the end anyways to look wether there is an interesting twist or something like that. But this manga's storyline is so trite that I won't even bother this time.

So this was an interesting manga, but i didn't find any personalities to the characters.
Their love is kinda declared abruptly, and you can't see the moment they fall in love.
And what happened after?
it was ok, but nothing more.

I found this manga to be quite refreshing. Its dark with gritty elements but hidden under a layer of romance and gentle feelings. Its nice to come across manga like this sometimes, though i do wish it were longer ^^; but then the story wouldn't have worked as well if it were. All the same, this is a great manga despite its shortness. The art is rather unusual, i dont see this style very often but its detailed with some strong realistic elements in places, but it remains clear and easy to read. The story isn't amazingly original in its presentation and basis but has some more unique qualities overlaying it. I thought it was a great balance between the Mafia side of the story and the romance side and they tied together very well. The only let down for me is that the characters didn't have enough time and room to develop to the level they might have. They are good and have some individuality, but theres still a little bit of a distance for both to go in terms of personality and depth.

I really enjoyed this manga and the art was absolutely unique. I thought the plot was really clever and i was chuffed with myself when i knew what Omerta was co i had done it in my english lit lessons >_< <3 It was a great story and i wish i could read more of it ~

I can say this one is absoultely interesting. The art is quite beautiful. This isn't your everyday BL it's interesting really. I can't really say anything else, the uke isn't those 'annoying' super girly ones or is he hot headed.
I can't explain very well but I have to say that this manga is pretty good.

Idk but this whole romanticizing the mob thing was kind of weirding me out while reading, which makes no sense bc it's totally ok in my mind when the yakuza are romanticized? lol But anyway, I don't understand why Takeru doesn't high tail it out of there the moment

he sees Ray triple tap some guy tied to a chair?? And then Takeru says that he's "not afraid" of Ray for killing people??
to me that seemed really far fetched. I wouldn't recommend this manga, it fell completely flat, had no character development, and had an overall boring and badly thought out plot.

BUT that being said, Honma Akira's has another manga, Usagi Otoko Tora Otoko that is FANTASTIC, funny, and really cute. So please read that! This manga was just a disappointing bump for the mangaka
