one of the few manhwas that i actually read all the way through...
i liked the plot and the characters were cool
i didn't really like the ending though
what really got me mad was the reason for the confusion...so unrealistic
but it also proves that what meant to happen is meant to happen and you can't change that fact
i loved it!

I absolutely love Wann. Her artwork is so beautiful and entrancing. I especially think she does a superior job with the facial expressions. You can feel the longing, the hurt, the love. As always, Wann has strong female characters. And I loved the ending--because it allowed for redemption and closure. This was a good series that played with your heart strings.

It's moving, touching, and something that you have to read. But I came to love Lida more than the main girl.
How typical. We have the good girl, who everyone adores, but for some reason, she has misfortune. Than we have the bad girl, who has everything going for her. In the end, the good girl gets the guy, and finds happiness, while the bad girl, even though she isn't actually bad herself, "learned her lesson".
I don't understand why I like Lida better, but I believe everyone would understand if you read it. And you're right, Yooi is a bland character. Very boring, always thinking for others (lol, the typical shoujo characteristic!), and all of these disgusting things that make her unenjoyable.
I think mangas, or manhwas, should make the bad guys be lead, since they are more likable than the good guys.

This was definitely not the story for me, but I encourage everyone to try it (since it's got such a high approval rate). My problem mostly came from the infantile and completely unrealistic depiction of love--um...falling in love just from a kiss? With a person you believe you hate? And then, in a few weeks, you're ready to give up all your dreams and ambitions and even die for that person? If this is what the manhwaga thinks love is really like, I think she's perhaps watched too many bad romance films.
The characters were all very tedious and shoujo archetypes. You have Yooi, the poor, good, sweet girl who's never done anything wrong (seriously!) and all guys fall for her. Then there's Lida, the rich bitch princess. And Gaon, the rich son who's on the path to political success until he meets Yooi, falls madly in love after one kiss and decides that it's impossible to be both a good person and a political figure... You might think I'm joking, but seriously, the manhwaga pretty much laid out the situation as such: either not be with Yooi and stay an ambitious, cold-hearted politician who's headed for the presidency or be with Yooi and become a kind person. God! Who the hell could think up such a cheesy plot!
Well, if you hate women who have no real personality (Yooi is soo bland), hate poorly written political machinations, hate infantile feelings of love and hatehatehate the concept of love as something that can happen in an instant and from then on last forever, you'll hate this story.

This manhwa is entertaining but nothing to be impressed about. The art is okay and the story is decent but it feels a bit amateurish. The characters aren't the greatest except for maybe the main character. The romance sticks out though, so if you are a typical shoujo romance lover, you'll love this.

Hmmm... the story's not too bad. It's got an exciting dose of romance, drama and action with a dash of good art.
However, it does a pretty thin job of setting up many of the various characters as we don't even know too much about their pasts apart from some short blurbs and their relations are too thin at times and very dramatic at others', making things sorta inconsistent.
Yet at the same time, this issue is compensated by the author's ability of creating an intense story about love and relationships. In short, this manhwa would've benefited from a couple more volumes so there would've been more ground to set things up and to explain everyone's pasts and to lay out all their relationships.

Spoiler (highlight to view)
Agree with Nameisk's comments about the series.
Yooi's strong/energetic character never returned in the last volumes which was a ashame and the final scene of her and Gaon were also disappointing... considering what they had to go through to get to where they ended up, shouldn't there have been more of a happy feel to the ending? On the other hand, I was satisfied with Lida's ending.
Overall though the manhwa was good coz the pace was decent and the drawings were good. I read it in one go ;)

This is such a great manga, it may start off slow but it gets so great afterwards that you will not be able to stop until you finish it.....I only have a few mangas that am usually tempted to re-read and have, this is certainly one of them.
