i really love this one to death and its also the first series i have read completely 4 times over! x3 but usually i dont like teacher-student romance cause to me it comes off as being a little one sided by the student and that the teachers kinda just playing along. but that was NOT the case in faster than a kiss!! ma kun shows sooooo much affection for fumino and its just so sweet a squeal every time something happens <3 and i personally love how they havent kissed yet, to me it will make that long awaited kiss more meaningful and it will just be amazing rather than them kissing in the first couple chapters. another thing is that i dont really see ma kun as a teacher anymore after the last few chapters because you learn so much about what his past was like and i kinda fused those two ma kuns together and i see him more as just a man who is in love with fumino and not as her teacher at all anymore even though she still just calls him sensei anyway if you havent read it YOU MUST DO SO!!!!!! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT IN THE SLIGHTEST!!!!!

Very good manga, like the setting and characters very much. Both leads are strong and likeable characters, not too complex and not too simple. Teppei adds just that little bit of cuteness to lighten the mood. The story itself doesn't really go anywhere (yet), but the rest more than makes up for it.
Was very glad that while there are other 'love interests', she's not even tempted by them... Which makes her all the more likeable. There are already way too much love-triangle manga out there.
The only thing that I found quite annoying is that she keeps calling him 'sensei' even when they are not at school and/or surrounded by people from school, don't forget they are married. Which is probably just a cultural difference (where I live people are just called by their first name, even teachers... doesn't matter if you know each other only a couple of minutes or years), annoying nonetheless.

Ah, I don't know. I have a weakness for good teacher-student mangas...

Art is perfect! Not the most beautiful I've seen, but very fitting to the story. Fumino is pretty. Her brother is sooooo cute. And, best of all, Sensei is such a hunk of a bishy! What's not to love?! The character designs are awesome ^_^ I personally favor the simplicity of the art. It's not too flashy and not so plain that it's unlikable.

The storyline goes in a fitting, addictive pace. I like it a lot. I guess what I love the most is Sensei and Fumino's relationship. It's romantiiiiic! There are also a lot of LOL moments and super adorable moments, too. I just love the light-heartedness of this manga. As I got to know more about the characters, I enjoy the story more and more. It's such a lovable story.

The characters are greeeeeat! I truly admire this mangaka, I do. I read some if her other works because of this series. I'm a fan.

Anyway, overall, you can't miss this manga.

Its got a lot of cliches in it however it also has a nice romance. The girl is actually trying to sleep with the man which is cool. The younger brother is to cute!XD Ten years from the manga time period hes gonna be able to kick ass!

The story in general is cute, and the couple are cute, teppai is adorable!! The comedy is okay in some scenes....
But I noticed a reoccurring theme....each chapters consists of a crazy plot where he and the girl don't act like a couple really...that ends with her being upset over the guy and starts sobbing (She literally cries in every single chapter) and him confessing again. But no progress, it's basically the same theme for every chapter! I've yet to read all the way to chapter 41...but I'm annoyed by how they get CLOSE but they start back where they were again: "I'm such a bother for sensei." "I like you" "Oh sensei -sniffle-" 9___9 Kinda unrealistic, and I guess this was a way for the author to extend the manga a bit more...
I like the manga because of Teppei. Teppei is adorable & I wanna hug that little kid all day : D

I mean the initial plot is pretty nice and it starts out lovely, but then... nothing
Nothing happens for 40 (edit : 50) chapters, and at first i didn't really mind but it gets real annoying right now. They have been married for over a year and not one bloody kiss, WTF
it feels like even after she graduates nothing will happen and the manga will finish at chapter 80 on the first kiss...

There is no real plot, just excuses to make sure they get in a situation where they could kiss but in the end they don't.

Still the art is pretty good and the little brother is cute, but the characters don't feel real. So it's a 5 for me in hope it will soon get better, I'm waiting for the ending to see if I leave it at that or drop it further (I read 54 chapters, I can last another 5)

Edit : as of just now, it's over. Guess what ? they kissed. Cool. The serie was pointless.

Because that seems to be everyone's complaint:

It's been spelled out a few times now in later chapters. Obviously, she won't kiss him because she's nervous, which is normal. The reason he won't kiss her is because he wants her. Badly. As he's explicitly said, he's afraid if he lets himself go even that far, he won't be able to resist going even further, so he's playing it safe. In other words, it's part of the jailbait wait.

Oh, also irony. x3 Because the entire slowly-updating pretty lengthy manga is LITERALLY still faster than their kiss.

As to my personal opinion of the series, I admit it can get a little tedious at times, and all the filler can in a few places seem somewhat repetitive. However, it's still rather filled with win. Teppei is cute of course, but I've never really gotten the level of rabid fandom; personally, aside from the main duo, I'm all about Ryuu~ x3 He makes me laugh so hard.

I don't really see it as a harem, because only one other guy really wants her, and really- what kind of student-teacher romance would it be if there wasn't a single student competitor? The other who kind of seems to has his own girl clearly designated already, and otherwise he (and everyone else entirely) is more straight conflict than competition. Anyone who's ever really been in a serious, long-term relationship should recognize that the appeal of other guys or girls, especially once tied down, is very real; but being able to overcome that desire allows one to find all the more to love in one's partner.

All in all, I think the series is rather well-done with more than enough good points to outweigh the bad completely. The characters are lovable, and while I'm sure they have clones in some series like just about any characters I haven't seen them, so at least to me most seem unique. Character development is slow but believably so and certainly well-done in the long run. The art is beautiful, and the story is both touching and hysterical. The utterly random spaz moments are what really drive it home for me (such as a horned Kazuma popping Fumino's fricking thought bubble with a pitchfork), and I never cease to be surprised just how much they can make me laugh.

The only actual issue I have is the update times, but all things considered it's worth the wait.

I really like this manga, the characters are likable, the plot is pretty good, and Teppei is just so unbelievable adorable. But there's one thing that really annoys me: why can't they at least kiss? You don't need to be married to do that, and after a whole year of marriage they still didn't even kiss once, she's 17 not 7 years old.

I really enjoyed this manga. It's light-hearted and fun to read, and I definitely had many good laughs. The manga runs at a slow pace with romance, but I like the way it's been stretched out so far across the 39 chapters I've read. It's teasing and is constantly rolling with new twists and turns that drives you to the edge of your seat waiting for the next chapter release.

Actually, it took me about three tries to actually read this and when I did I enjoyed it... then the cycle began... The heroine is supposed to be a STRONG GIRL but it's obvious that that isn't holding up too well. And the inevitable cycle began... Sure there was some fan girl scream moments in there but overall it's getting old. JUST END THE SERIES DAMN IT. Of course, this is all for the money so they'll probably milk it until it's dry.
