This manga makes me happy

Seriously, everything about this was excellent. It sailed straight into my top 10 manga, if not even top 5. Likeable characters, good art, just the right amount of ecchi and fanservice, as good as completely drama free, honest laugh-out-loud humour, cuteness all around but not to the point of it being sickening. I can't wait for this author's next work.

Fun And Fancy Free

When I saw that one of the two main characters for this series was 10, I was ready to skip the whole thing. Lolicon is something that'll turn me off to most manga. I've gotta say right here though that I enjoyed this WAY more than I thought I was going to. I have a lot of patience with comedy slice of life series if they actually make me laugh, and this series can usually get me to laugh once a chapter at least. Hebe does a great job of giving us a small cast of characters and then letting them play off each other.

The only major gripe I had was that the plot ended up being packed into the last couple of chapters. I think this manga could have taken after Poor Poor Lips and scattered the plot throughout the story, it would have been interesting seeing the characters react to the information as it came up because as is I think they missed out on some comedic potential. This is a pretty minor issue overall I'll admit, but it was something I thought as I finished the story. The only other thing I can think of is that like in a lot of manga some jokes kind of wear a bit thin over time, masochism in particular (though admittedly I did find it funny to the end).

If you're looking for a funny, lighthearted series with some yuri elements then this is for you. I laughed consistently, the ending was very satisfying, and I just wish there was more. I can't recommend this enough.

Lighthearted 4-koma

This is a 4-koma with some slightly pervy yuri elements. The witch theme mentioned in the synopsis is basically irrelevant except for the first and last ~3 chapters, but the yuri theme makes for some fun jokes. That said, over the 45 chapters, there's quite a bit of repetition in these jokes, hence the rating. It's not a bad manga, and I had some fun with it; but there are better ones out there (though maybe not with the yuri humor theme).

Recommended alternative: Fujimura-kun Meitsu. (Not yuri, but the humor goes in a similar direction.)

Yuri for everyone

Such a good Yuri manga, it's hard to find enjoyable yuri for me since hardly anything could compare to Hime no Tame Nara Shineru. The humor is very light and entertaining but it made it seem like all the yuri was for the sake of humor. The art was pleasing to look at and not too detailed or lacking in detail. There are good characters and I like em all, but it feels like all of them aside from Noriko, Mikan, and Miyako have masochistic tendencies, I still enjoyed it but it felt like there was too much at times. I especially loved the ending
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
since the yuri was very much real and Noriko and Rhiana ended up getting engaged and even sharing a full on mouth to mouth kiss (albeit covered by the text box, damn you censorship

total moe

the characters, the arts, the jokes - the all contribute to cuteness that make you smile all the way. however, you dont really get the loli moe, since all the characters act childish so you dont get a gap between the adults and the children.

still, quite nice.

Clean, beautiful art, absorbing storytelling, lighthearted humor, great character dynamics and natural development. Never feel like the story was dragged out. All characters are relatable and lovable. 10/10.
