I expected a typical shoujo - and I mean, this fits the mould - but the art was really well done, and the characters were way more compelling than I had in mind. I would've liked a serialisation of this but it's a really good one-shot as is! Give it a try it only takes 5 minutes anyway 🙂

So, so cute! I've read many a story about vampires having a master-servant relationship with a human, but never where the "servant" is not only an offering that's paired with the vampire for life, but is anemic to boot. Ha! The irony is that poor Makoto's biggest wish is prevented by that exact health condition. The dynamic between Makoto and Alice is the typical one between the tsundere mistress and the long-suffering servant, but it was enjoyable and well-developed despite of it. The one thing that could've really improved this further for me was if we were given some more details on whether his feelings were ever expressed and openly reciprocated - Makoto's happy being silently loyal for the rest of his life, but I'm not! I suppose that wasn't the point, however. Either way, this is worth a read.

An anemic teenage boy is the butler and blood offering for a vampire. Since this is shoujo, you know that they're going to be in love with each other but.... I cannot tell you anything further without it being a complete spoiler, so just go read it. It's short enough that I would say that it is worth giving it a try.
