Akihisa starts off wanting Yuuki but when he gets her, the roles change. If you enjoy stories where the girl pathetically pursues after a guy then this is the perfect read. Little changes thoughout the rest of the story, almost right up to the last page. The ending is rushed and inherently unsatisfying, even though it's your classic happy ending.

by far one of the cutest manga i have read. lovely. all that is said above is true however i don't think that the art is ugly, nor are the characters. and the ending is a lot better that what ^he^ made it out to be, a must read ^v^

Despite the ratings it's been given, I personally loved this 4-volume series. I really like Oota Saki and the way she handles the age gap in Suke ni Natte mo Ii no.

Somewhat, cliche? Yes, but aren't most shoujo/romance manga?

There are very mature relationships in this manga so if you don't read josei I don't think that you will like this manga. Those that do love josei will find this manga very refreshing.

at first i was thinking "great another 'hot gimmick' " but it wasn't like that at all!.... i thought he was just some creepy old pervert that would try and maybe succeed in raping her... but he wasn't like that at all!!!!!... i loved it all. and i want to read it again. and that is a lot for me, someone who doesn't exactly like to re-read books, or at least has difficulty in doing that even if i liked it and has a reeaalllyy hard time watching the same movie again. to conclude, it was great. i highly suggest you read it.

Yuuki is stupid. She has a good boyfriend but then she leaves him for a perverted old man! The old man doesn't even treat her well. He treats her like a girl and her voice resembles his dead wife's voice, maybe that's why he likes her. what i can say. Stupid girl.

i didn't like yuuki. i wanted to. i really did. but she was like a lost puppy. i mean, he'd like kick her around but she still followed him around. she was so weak in my opinion. i was rooting for her to stick up for herself ONCE..
.. but it never happened.
it was alright. i liked the ending. it was pretty cute.

This was truly a great story, am not really sure why so many people disliked the male lead but i really liked their relationship and how it developed it felt real. The drama was not over the top and it was quite funny particularly since that female lead is just so clumsy.

I really didn't like this at first. As someone else mentioned, its really creepy at first. An old guy stalks and steals from this girl, and yet somehow she falls in love with him. Still, having said this, it does have a happy ending. If you can get over the whole falling in love with your stalker issue.
