Way too abrupt. It was a 9 and then lost 1 for the ending. Enjoyable read though.

Why isn't this under inconclusive/axed ending? Absolutely nothing was resolved! I loved it! I would love the ending too...If one existed. Whatever, wasted an all nighter. I started at 7am but...*sigh* all these emotions. Maybe, I'm just cranky, but I that was not an ending.

I really liked the premise of the story: chauvinistic arrogant douchebag turns into a girl. I didn't like the execution of it. I found myself skimming through parts with Hyejin and Heewon... The manga seemed to drag on in the middle, but at the same time, ended abruptly without tying off some loose ends.
Overall a 7 because I enjoyed it as a whole and finished it in one sitting.

When I read the synopsis for this manhwa I thought that this would be a good read. Boy was I ever wrong. The story and character developments were not that good, which is a sad thing as this story had so much potential. I would have liked it to show some comedic and serious issues as to how Joonha would handle becoming a girl. Other than the relationship that Jinhoo and Joonha had the other characters and their relationships where poor and lacking. The ending was so rushed and horrible that it really pissed me off.

How could Jinhoo and Joonha not end up together? It was so obvious that those two really loved each other. The author just decided to create drama so that Jinhoo and Joonha would suffer for the rest of their lives living with someone that they don't love. Just plain RIDUCLOUS!!!!! Hyejin is a sad and weak girl. How could she just knowingly watch as Jinhoo, that she says she loves, is suffering because he misses the person he should be with instead of her. Just....Urgggh.
I wasted my time reading this crap.... Last updated on January 13th, 2013, 9:03pm

m deducting 1.5 points for the endind...so its basically an 8 if u dnt have many issues with the ending which was soooo disappointing! It could have been so much better...
other than that, it was a pretty fun manga...
Its a nice manga which you'l probably like[minus the end] and you can give it a shot...
but its not worth any more than an 8 in my opinion[that too at the max]
Its just not that riveting a read to be worth more than that

The poor best friends who dint stay with the 1z they truly loved! thats just too annoying...especially for the pianist, he just got chucked by the author with that random character...
I liked Taeyun, but he could have been happy with some1 else too... He dint Have to get her/him
And I'm sure if Joonha n Jinhoo had stayed together, she would be more accepting as a FEMALE n they would have been married at the least! uffff...

Before reading this manga I read a lot of negative comments about this being a very cliched and disappointing story. Because of that I was hesitant to read it, but ultimately I have no regrets that I did. As a whole, I loved it. Why? Because the plot line, relationships and characters were unusually capturing. Basically, it was just very interesting to me. The good points outweighed the bad. Yes, the story does have some typical manhwa characteristics (unnecessary violence, and drama) but that wasn't what stood out to me. What I found great was that the main character really seemed to be true to their personality - she(he?) never acted out of character and maintained their identity despite rapid plot/literal change. Even better, she learns to accept herself as who she is and changes gradually. And realistically, slow change is the best kind of change.
Despite everything, I do agree that the ending was disappointing. It wasn't only that things didn't end up how I anticipated them to, but also that things just played out horribly. I felt that the character's actions weren't justified, and just plain irritating how things took a turn for the worst. BUT, I wasn't completely unsatisfied with the end - it was acceptable, just not preferred. (this is how I feel personally though, you might hate it...)
So in an overview: it was good overall and if you don't mind the little things then go for it! Its the big picture that matters.

Man this manhwa was so poorly executed. I mean it had soo much potential but it was just boring and unromantic and stupid. The characters were unappealing and made some really wierd decisions that made them seem unrealistic. Although it was angsty as it should be for some reason that made the manga really difficult to read and I felt like it needed to be a little more light-hearted.
It just felt wrong in many ways. I mean I loved the whole gender transformation/best friend love business but it dragged out and I didn't like how the manhwa was going.
I don't really recommend it, the author did a poor job of a good idea.

Before reading this, I have read the comments. But as to say, I kind of not agree with some of them. Of course this manga has lot of cliches and has the manhwa characteristics but still good for one reading. And the ending kind of suprising too. Maybe for some, it will be not the wanted ending.
If you like romance shoujos, give it a try.

Gaaahh, you know, I hate making generalizations but I can't help but generalize manhwa as really shallow and presumptuous and unrealistic, blowing everything out of proportion. This is no different. The only one that has proven me wrong thus far has been Poker Face, an excellent BL oneshot. Anyways, this was pretty awful, although after the story picks up after the beginning the plot becomes pretty interesting and addicting. However, characterizations are unrealistic, and what a god awful plot twist at the end. I mean, seriously?! That was just disgusting. I didn't even feel bad for the girl b/c it was just so drama-y and typical. I mean, realistically, even if such an awful thing happened to her in real life doesn't mean she has to pull someone else down with her. That girl is pathetic. The girls in this series in general are really pathetic. Ugh I hate this. Still, it was enjoyable until that moment.
I did like both main love interests and really couldn't decide who the main character should end up with until I saw how much he loved his "other half", so I'm really not complaining about the fact that he didn't end up with who I was rooting for but the reason he didn't end up with him. Also, the author makes so many assumptions about homosexuality it's disgusting, although this assumption on the characters' behalves may reflect the Korean society's generalizations about homosexuality.... Also, the main character's condition is NOT hermaphroditism.

REALLY didn't like the twist near the ending
Spoiler (highlight to view)
it feels too much like pity for Jinhoo to end up with Hyejin... I mean, seriously, Joonha was right, he's far too good for her... and it means Jinhoo and Joonha both keep longing for the other in that heartwrenching fashion...
but otherwise, pretty interesting, I find the manhwaka's humour pretty interesting, and the plot keeps you on your toes guessing. Even the ending was kinda saved because it showed pretty clearly how they went on with their lives, even if the transition was a bit abrupt and I wasn't totally satisfied with the pairings...You must login to comment for this series!
