I like how they are an already established couple from the get go! you dont see that often in yuri manga so it was refreshing. i love how level headed and straight to the piont eri is and liked how that contrasted ichiko's natural innocence. they really fit perfectly together as a dynamic couple. i also really enjoy how somber the entire story is. no over reactions or melodrama. all of the characters are really mature in that sense. over all i really enjoyed this story despite being 20 years too late to the party lol im surprised it took me this long to find since ive been really into yuri/ shoujo ai stuff for about 5 years now. just goes to show this world has so much more to offer just when you thought you've seen it all <3

Was re-reading this, and it remains beautiful to me. The art is a bit simple, with a retro feel especially in the lips and eyes to manga from the 70s (I think; maybe the 60s), but the story itself revolves around a young girl's day-to-day experiences (with her girlfriend, her gay best friend, her gay father, and the memory of her lesbian mother) defining what it means to love.

The story is really nice.it gets you thinking and it changes from the usual (highschool) yuri. But the art... I really dislike it, especially Ichiko. I still managed to finish it (only 1 volume), and in the end I enjoyed this manga, but I give a minus 1.5 because of the art. Well, some people might like it though. So try reading the first chapter, and if it' okay for you keep going smile

A very nice and balanced slice of life manga. I recommend this, even if you ain't into yuri. If you like josei and slice of life, this is worth a read.

The story revolves around Ichiko and her experiences concerning different kinds of love and desire. We hear about her emotions through her conversations with her lover, friend and dad. The message of this manga is very nice. You shouldn't blame how you are on others (for instance your parents) and you shouldn't blame your choices on others. What you do is your decision, and yours alone. And when you've come that far, you should completely accept who you are, since running away will get you nowhere, ironically.
