Never! FUck! i did really like it!! The art was pretty sketchy and messy, i dont usually like that but the storyline was so hot that was totally irrelevant this time! Akiyama-kun is so handsome!!! and that idiot Shiba... i'd hug him tightly if i could. Their relationship was strange from both parts. I thought Akiyama was insensitive and thought nothing else but sex. However, Little by Little cuteness appear between them. OHH and that lonely air that has those situations at school when you dont have so many friends, it even reminded me of my old school days

great characters with amusing interactions i laugh and scream a lot. fluid artwork, and i really mean 'fluid', whenever shiba cries or they have sex everything goes all wavy. just read this, all you fujoushi out there.

i love it! you got to read this! it's one of the unique but smutty and effective yaoi manga out there!

I liked a lot akiyama-kun but it feels incomplete, like if the author wanted to continue it.
There's even a doujinshi about akiyama-kun 3, that is like a sequel and in the end there is a "to be continued", but it was done in 2011/12/30 and has passed a looong time and the author hasn't continued it, I wish she felt like continuing it someday, because the plot is new. I find a lot of yaoi that have the same story but this one doesn't have it.

this story was strange, a bit weird, but good! nice deviation from the normal run-of-the-mill BL. it was sweet and cute, messy and sexy at the same time. i've never read a manga where there was flat out sex in front of other people (shocked friends even!) so this is very novel to me.

the extra....NOBARA AIKO YOU TEASE YOU. now that we have more background and exposition on sano, the best friend, i want to read more about him! i realllyyy want an extra story about him and his relationship with akiyama-kun ;((((( poor guy, i just want him to be happy XD

When I first read this (around the time the first chapter came out) I really, really disliked it.
There was too much crying, too much drooling, too much snot? I don't know, it felt really weird and uncomfortable. I don't think I even read it as far as the twist,



I just happened to bump into this again today and for some unknown reason decided to give it a go: best decison I've ever made. Perhaps when I first tried to read my head was really someplace else because, today, I really enjoyed it right from the start. Shiba and Akiyama-kun are definitely an odd couple but they fit each other perfectly, developed as they are to perfection considering the lenght of this. I don't think Shiba was supposed to be cute though --- why is everyone calling him that? He's just an obsessive cry-baby who's great at doing sex, ahah.
And Akiyama is, without a doubt, the first uke I find genuinely, genuinely hot. They just fit in such a strange, awkward manner there's no way you won't like it.
I wish there was more to it.

The art is a straight 10 out of 10 <3
I'll definitely be looking forward for more of this author's works.

I love this manga and everything about it!
The only thing I can say really is... why is there not more of it!?
This manga was enjoyable right from the start and through to the end, there was nothing boring or filler or side story in it that would bother me.
I adore the art and that really messy drawing and story-telling style very much fits the manga.
The characters are amazing, I love them all to bits and I'd love to see more of Akiyama's friends as well (especially Sano, lol)... I love how Shiba is a big crybaby who lacks self confidence but when it comes to sex he's an animal! And how Akiyama is the cool guy who never messes up and is popular with everybody but then he's also a sex-hungry uke! Oh man, that's just candy for every yaoi fan!
I really loved how a lot of it is about sex... and they just jump right into it, too. It feels really typical for male teens and it's just so much fun to listen to them talk about it and think about it in this crude and straight forward way!

I can see how someone who prefers there to be a real shojo-like romantic love story that slowly builds up or a typical big, manly seme - pretty or cute uke setting might not like this manga BUT everyone else, please do yourself a favor and read this because it's a real little gem full of smutty goodness!

I'm one of those people who judges manga by the art work, first impressions mean the most afterall. However, in this case, don't let the simplistic artwork keep you from reading on. The plot line may seem plain, but you'll definitely develop a liking for the characters. I also love how realistic and down to Earth the mangaka created this. It's the type of story line that could happen in real life. Fantasy is great, but sometimes a story like this is refreshing. Looking forward to reading more of this manga.

Let me say this, SHIBA WAS NOT UNBEARABLY ANNOYING. You've not seen annoying..

Well, I sort of know what this artist was going for. Usually the semes are cool, and the ukes are like shiba. Switching the roles makes it very interesting, I'm tired of the usual so this was a breath of fresh air. If you like cool, calm, and collected ukes like the taller guy you see in the picture, you will not be too disappointed.
For some reason the Akiyama-kun (uke) reminds me of Sasuke, and Shiba (seme) reminds me of Naruto due to his spiky hair.. hehe that is how I imagine Sasuke as an uke. ^^

Well the story starts off with VERY unexpected twists and turns and reading it made me speechless. xD For good reasons tho. I like how the story focuses on these two characters who are seen as outcasts in their own way. Akiyama is a delinquent loner while Shiba tends to get picked on by other kids. It's really great to see how their relationship develops through the manga.

I also love the fact that the characters are not what you expect them to be. They are such an awkward couple that manage to work together so well. Akiyama is one hell of a dominate uke that i for one adore very much. Shiba is quite the cry baby, but he's extremely loyal and that makes me happy. The art is really messy.. like dude it's all over the place but yoo the sex scenes are super hot. So it's definitely worth reading. And Akiyama's hair is fucking gorgeous.
