Hmm.....cute, I really like it. To the previous reviewer, I read the other one, but somehow I couldn't stand it for some reason. Meh. Anyway, the Maou is a very lovable character, seeing how he couldn't really say his true feeling out loud because any louder than a whisper would destroy the area around him. Therefore he have his interpreter, who keeps translating the words to fit the Maou's king-ish outer apperance. Just makes me laugh. What is really sad is that this story way too short to be a proper one-shot, which should be around 30-40 pages, not just 18 pages. The art is alright, so I'm hoping to the future works of this artists since I know art can always be improved.

reading this soothes my mind from reading many action manga. its very light and funny to read, and also not like the typical shoujo style where its all lovey dovey. i like the art and the style of the story. i wish that there's still some story out there, for it was not said that it was finished, and i'm still hoping that other heroes would come. i don't want it to become bl, it doesn't suit the comedic style of the manga. (i like bl, but not for this one.) also, i think its much better than watashi no ookami-san, in terms of the art and the comedic effect, its more refreshing. ... The first thing I thought finishing this, MOAR DAMN IT~~ Well, the oneshot as it is is pretty average though. It's not bad, but there's nothing quite special about it. Simply too short. Perhaps would had been alot more interesting had it been a series and not oneshot. One thing though... I'd prefer this to have a male hero instead... in other words, bl. ... No matter how hard I try, I can't help but be reminded of "Watashi no Ookami-san". It too has a female hero who has come to kill the king of the demons. And in both, the demon king easily falls in love with the hero. But the other manga, in my opinion, is MUCH better.
