Description
From Shoujo Addiction:
"Behind me, in front of me, there is only you."

Fumi is always swung around by her outrageous boyfriend Hayato. But even when the relationship seems to be in the verge of breaking, she continues to fall for him. A strange and somewhat a cringe-worthy love-comedy.

romanticized cheating story

idk what the author's intention when writing this. maybe the author just want to show the reality of Japanese dating culture? but make it romantic and shojo-ish? I mean cheating in Japan is very normalized.

He cheats then go to her house to show her that he cheated while laughing! Then have a 6 with her while she is sick! Then when he suspected that she cheated too he became violent! Then he promised to not cheat but you know "words are words"! He did it again! With a lame conclusion "doing it with others makes me think of my GF!", then she knew and forgave him again! Sorry, this is not love, she is just after a pretty cool boy. She is a stupid MC with no pride or dignity! Don't like it, I have read all the available chs and heard about how he kept cheating and she kept forgiving him! Nah not my style.

Hated the first half but somehow liked it after

I rarely write reviews, but I just wanted to share how much I hated the manga when I started reading it. Hayato (main guy) keeps on cheating Fumi (main guy) and he was not even keeping it a secret. At first I kind of liked his honesty, but then he kept on repeating it as if he didn't care about Fumi, and he was a jealous guy himself.
I got so irritated about this that I read the start of their university years in passing just to know how will they make their relationship work. I felt so bad for Fumi, and fortunately, Hayato grew. He learned to appreciate Fumi and at long last promised to never cheat on her (he never promised her that before, he just kept on saying he'll do his best not to cheat). That was the time when they learned theur lessons and grew. There is couple growth in this manga that one can appreciate at the end. It will be such a rocky road though before getting there.

If you think you can stomach the initial immature characters, you'll be somehow treated with a nice conclusion.

I read the first chapter and that was it. I couldn't stand it.
This is the worse manga ever, horrible plot. I don't know what did the sensei had on mind to do this kind of story.
If you like jerks who continuously likes to cheat their girlfriend well be my guest but it didn't work for me.

I dropped this manga but... it's a real couple after all

Hayato and Fumi are already a couple at the beginning of the story, they started dating during their 2nd year of high school. Truthfully I thought the couple was cute when I started the story, but then he cheated on her... she forgave him but he cheated again... so I dropped the manga.

Somehow I wanted to know the end of the story because it had 8 volumes and I thought how could this story continue till 34 chapters... I got curious so I gave it another try. And I actually enjoyed it.
Well the story can be divided into two parts, first part is in high school until graduation (volumes 1-4) and second part is in university and more (volumes 5-8). I liked the second part better.

I think when you are in high school, you can love each other but it could be seen as not a serious relationship, so I guess that's why Hayato acted that way, but he is also twisted and self-centered (at the beginning) in my opinion, and he will always stick to Fumi and especially care for her (in his own way) at the end of the day, he just like to tease her a lot. As for Fumi, she loves him a lot, and she knows him very well and she accepts him as he is (well you can think she is either too nice and naive or too stupid but she is in love and she knows he loves her despite his behaviour). That is how this couple worked as teenagers in high school. But after a certain event
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
they broke up, and got back together in 3rd year
they got more serious especially Hayato
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
who asked Fumi to choose a university in Tokyo and live together with him. He then started to show his feelings more than he did in high school,
he can be very sweet and cute sometimes.

I think there is a good couple's growth, especially when they start thinking about their future.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
They got married when they reached legal age, and after a time-skip of 2 years, they graduated from university, start working and want to have kids.
Sometimes it's cheesy towards the end but oh well, they are in love and happy.

Side characters have some chapters focused on them, it was okay.

The epilogue chapter is cute too.

It's strangely somewhat refreshing to see a shoujo manga where the 10/10 ikeman actually cheats instead of it being some kind of misunderstanding, which in turn leads the heroine to actuallycheat and run back to the guy in the end where he goes "lol i forgive you, and guess what I never actually had sex or w/e with that girl (unlike you with the other guy)."

Don't read it, he just keeps on cheating her, Spoiler, although he promises not to cheat on her with a girl he just keeps doing it, even when the b**** does some pretty ugly things to maing girl (?). And she just forgives him.Really not my cup of tea. It leaves you with a bad taste.
Ok, I went ahead...it just gets worse...I usually try to finish something to say it's bad (I'm an obsessive person haha) but I just couldn't do that with this one.
