skimmed just to get the update on that idiot and his sunflower obsession

i glossed over the first two chapters very unwillingly, skipped everything about mori because it was just f*cked up, and only paused to read when it was a tetsuo and hanami panel. but i couldnt help but notice how everyone was so calm about mori being a literal pedo, dating a girl 9 years younger who happens to also be a minor. yuck. anyway thats besides the point.

i did not hate the ending of natsu no zenjitsu, but i wondered what might have happened with akira. i am so disappointed in the mangaka for letting tetsuo win and end up with his stupid crush after everything that happened to poor akira, and theres not even a single mention of akira, what shes doing or even if she impacted tetsuos future at all. all we see are these two idiots f*cking in the mens toilets and thats when i had to drop it. is tetsuo really gonna be happy with hanami when he had akira? i hope not. i decided i was not gonna continue reading to see that stupid relationship develop even if it became the most perfect relationship ever, i could never be happy for those two and i dont want to know any more about them unless its a tragedy (which would be a happy ending in my eyes)

the existence of this sequel left a really foul taste in my mouth so im gonna pretend it doesnt even exist and ill just pretend hanami died in some sort of accident and tetsuo ended up being left with neither the perfect woman that was his ex or that silly classless sunflower girl.

This isn´t the borderline masterpiece the reviewed "prequel" Natsu no Zenjitsu is and the characterization is a bit off due to the inexperience of her skills at this point. The second volume was written at a later date it is more rounded and better drawn but a true ending to all of this will be needed one day. Why are all the women falling for Mori too?
He isn´t that deep a character and his tale is the weakest link overall.

A dissapointing epilogue to Natsu no Zenjitsu

None of the issues that the MC goes through in the main work are adressed. Only that his crush on Hanami is fulfulled. Though there is little closure to the wonderful story of Natsu no Zenjitsu, it is important to note that the relationship between these two characters come off as more "equal" than if Natsuo got with the older woman. That said, as this came before the prequel work, there is no denouement for the older woman herself.

The entire story leaves much to be desired. Its a shame, really, for something so poignant to not be wrapped up in the way it deserved
