Description
Severely allergic to felines, Yuuto Amakawa spends his mornings nursing a drippy nose courtesy of his friend Rinko’s cat. But on his sixteenth birthday, it’s not just Rinko’s pet that’s riling up his allergies (to say nothing of his hormones)! Appearing before him is Himari, a buxom, sword-wielding cat spirit in human guise, who has sworn to protect Yuuto, now the target of vengeful spirits! It’s clear that Yuuto’s allergies are the least of his problems — he’s gonna need Himari’s help if he wants to live to see his seventeenth birthday!

Romantic Comedies do not need story, nor do they need character or character development. As the Genre suggests, the main focus should always be the Romance and Comedy, everything else is just extra.

With that said, this series is by far my favorite because it doesn't trigger jealousy from male readers as many series does. It gives a sense of security for the reader to know that no random bishounen is going to come sometime during the series and mess around with Himari.

As a Hentai mangaka, I'd say he proves he can draw and fill a series with suggestive and provocative scenes to keep readers entertained. I have to say to many of those who demand story and character development from Romantic Comedies to stop posting hate comments, because if you're looking for those things, you should not be reading a Romantic Comedy, or Ecchi for that matter. Rather, you should just go read a Seinen series that has those elements.

The first thing that came to my mind while reading this is "Kanokon". Somehow I get a familiar feeling that I've read this manga, and yet, I haven't. I must say, this work shares a lot of similarity with it. But better art, hell yeah.

Great Job for the mangaka, and it is a "recommended" manga for me.

As most people have already said, the art is beautiful and the girls are georgous. The story does however lack a strong plot and the girls are somewhat static. But it is still a great read.

One thing I can definitely say about this manga is its artwork is one of the best, not THE best but one of the best I've seen so far. Anyway apart from its artwork the plot is fairly basic, but it does have its own charms. A good read for anyone who loves harem and doesn't really care about an original plot.

...but fairly inconsistent. This is probably the only manga where you get quite a seductress, who speaks oldschool, yet fashionable (or at least has a sense of fashion), and a catgirl in one character. Dunno about the art; it's fairly normal to me.

The mangaka really knows how to draw. Especially girls. They are cute, beautiful, sexy... All you an hope for.
The story is quite refreshing, and somewhat original, without being extraordinarily unique. Himari is one of my favorite female character. She is so beautiful and sexy. The relation she has with the main character is just too cute, even if she can be a bit pushy at time xD (for the best ^^).
This manga isn't the best, but it does an awesome job at entertaining you. Even if you can predict what's up ahead, it's still really good.
Just the way Himari is going after the hero is good enough. And the way she is talking in "ancient english" in the traduction, is just awesome.
Just sit back, and enjoy.

The art is great, the plot is fairly interesting, and its very funny. On top of that its a relatively original story as well, and the comedy isnt always relying on cliche's typical of the romantic comedy genre.

very good...art is clean..very good character drawings...funny at times..but it seems more focused on ecchiness and romance... and later chapters makes you question who he is going to end up with...man...i was all for the cat chick but now its 50/50..crap...but it is very good ..i remember giving it a 9 ..deserves it

The art is good though I get the feeling it isn't drawn as well in the second volume. The story has been good so far. The main female character is a nice take on the cat girl concept. The other characters feel a bit bland to me though. Hopefully things will pick up later on. This does have good potential.

The mangaka obviously knows how to draw girls, but other than that, everything else leaves much to be desired. The story is horribly cliche and I found that I had no problem predicting what would happen five pages ahead. The only thing that could save the manga imo is a decently executed plot twist. Other than that, great to read for some eye candy.
