I don't dislike this story but I'm not crazy in love with it either, and the mangaka's execution didn't exactly help to make it more palatable for me. Some parts were truly quite messy, the pacing needs more work, and what I find most troubling is the fact that I couldn't connect much with the characters or come to like them throughout the whole manga. The romance aspect feels rather half-baked while the mystery was just sort of meh and not very interesting, resulting in some inauthentic and overdramatic angst that I'm not terribly moved by. Overall there are a few cute moments I do like but they're nowhere near enough to make me care for the rest of the story, sadly.

Other than that though, I LOVE the protagonist's personality and characteristics and his appearance a lot! The climax when the truth revealed, he handle it so well. When he cry and saying what he feels and all, makes me love him so much. His action at the end to get attention is Preciously Gold!
So yeah, it has really Great Climax! And also Likable Enjoyable Characters and all. I Love it!

the character dynamic is really good! I really like the premise and the banter between the characters. I know past high school classmates plots are played out, but it's one of my favorite tropes lol. there's only one chapter, but I really wanna read more! SOMEONE PLZ PICK THIS SERIES UP ;_;

edit: ahhhhhh this series was really cute. I always love series where the uke is emotionally stronger than the seme, and even though Ukai had his fears, he is proven to be stronger than Chikamichi in the end. Other than wanting to punch Chikamichi sometimes for being an immature child, I loved everything about this series.

This brought laughter and tears while reading. At first I thought the plain cover was not fitting of the comedic first few chapters, but the tears in the later part of the story lent a bit of stoic to the cover. In all, it is a very good read with lovable characters.

I enjoyed the carefree uke with a dark past. He's dumb but straightforward in expressing himself despite trying very hard to hide his feelings. Really cute and innocent and very lovable. The seme has a warped sense of expressing his love, but that made him a more fleshed out character. It's a pity the story is limited by the number of pages as there could be so much more room to develop the chatacters, especially the flashback parts which seem to be lacking in punch.
