Yes it is such a shame that such an EXCELLENT comic is hard to stumble across the myriad of overrated works that flood this and other sites charts. Ended reading this by pure chance, and I'm glad I gave it a try.
The influences from "American comics and Japanese manga" as stated in the description give this quite an interesting feel. Great artwork, the backgrounds are filled with the artist's love as previous comments stated. Love the comedy as well, the references are funny and easy to catch. All in all, recommended for sure.

The backgrounds are wonderful, the characters are well-developed, the setting is amazing, and the plot is entertaining. It is easy to see the level of thought the author has put into this. But the deeper aspects of the comic, such as
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Hal as a reference to the Tin Man
, are what truly let this comic rise above the rest. If not for the fanservice, the comic would be a classic.

BD's are often excellent, and this one is no exception. Thre's a lot going on in this one: Xiongmao's family issues, Ombre de Loup's secret, Chance's background, the battling schools and the shifty direction. Great art and fun characters. Give it a look!

Being that this is a french comic, I think it has more similarity to american comics in style, but more like manga in substance. This makes the comic incredibly fresh, fun, and enjoyable. The story moves at a very agreeable pace, and the chars and side characters are absolutely WONDERFUL! Because of how the story starts off, it may be a bit off-putting to get into, but after the 2nd, 3rd, or ESPECIALLY funny 4th chapter, you'll see just how awesome this comic is. Give it a try, you'll definitely like it (^,^)!
