Well, i can't help it - I'm a big fan of crossdressers) (*wish i had my own Yashiro... and my own Momose as well*). I can't remember any other manga, that would depict it so lovely - with romance and erotics and some prickling emotions. I love this mangaka - most of her works are worth reading (and her "afterwords" to the manga are always so funny ^-^)

i had read a lot of yaoi gender bender, but most of them is just straight porn. but here, this have a great plot that is logical. the characters are multidimensional, and i really like that we can understand both characters at the same time. beautiful art, i really really love that the crossdresser still look like a guy - its not like most yaoi where the uke is just a stand in for a woman.

If you are a yaoi lover, then you HAVE TO read this. Since you are on this page, I assume you have no aversion to yaoi. So go read this. Love it or hate it, it will definitely be one of those yaoi mangas that will stand out in your memory. Definitely worth the minutes you are going to spend on it!!! I just wish it was longer, more drawn out, characters explained a bit more. Not that I don't get what was happening or where it was going, but I had to pause and think. I'd rather have read what I thought~

After rereading this I just had to update my review. Lately I've come to notice that an unusual number of mangas only get to me the second time I read them. Odd. Anyway, this time around I really got to feel something other than a profound and compelling interest for Momose. He's still my favourite of course, with his love for screamo music, his scary face, his stalking.... could spend the rest of the day on all that. However, unlike what happen the first time, now my heart really felt for Yashiro as well. I sympathised (probably not the best word) with his insecurities, so much so I came to love that side of him. The cross-dressing wasn't much of a turn-off either, maybe because I think I finally got the meaning of it; and I absolutely loved the extra chapter, when



What I said about Momose in my first review still stands though. I wonder how "healthy" his love for Yashiro really is. But that's how I like it, and I do love this character! I give up: 9.

I didn't fall for any of the characters, which is strange... yet, Momose was so intriguing. He's a scary dude, no doubt, but then again he was so much more than that. Really, a memorable character. I loved how you didn't need much of "in-sight" or verbal exposure to get to know him, and by the end of the day you do feel like you know him. He wasn't attractive (except in that lovely panel, chap. 6, page 42), he was never cute, and I left with the impression his love for Yoshiro was.... well, more platonic than actually solid, even after it got mutual. Still, as an individual character I felt really drawn towards him. I didn't care much for Yoshiro or his cross-dressing though -- first time reading anything of the sort. Not my cup of tea. Still, Momose made for a interesting case so, overall, it was fairly enjoyable.

Never read a cross dressing manga before, but it was good. In a way I don't think it was to short nor do I think it was rushed. For a short story like this; IMO it's not necessary to make it overly complicated, but the story does leave you with some loose ends and "why"s which makes me think that the mangaka should have stretched the story a bit longer.

It was interesting though.. and definitely refreshing :-) I do however think the characters relationship is a bit dysfunctional, but that's not bad thing. I don't really like any of the characters which is one if the rare times where I find neither of the characters adorable.. but I was so intrigued by them!

Although the ending was enjoyable, the process of reaching the ending was not.

Never was I this interested in BL! I mostly read them for smut, not story. The exploration of a closet crossdresser character made the story very refreshing and yet rich. Compared to the usual cookie cutter yaoi mangas I've read; be it sugary, fluffy shounen-ai or hard yaoi, this one certainly stands out. The character development is great and immersing while the characters are very likable. Try this for a change, it'll be a memorable read.

I highly recommend you read this work! Actually, read everything by hideyoshico,a brilliant and unusual artist who never disappoints.
Basically this story offers a take on cross dressing that isn't simply played for laughs. The artist delves properly in to the feelings of Yashiro and his back story that sort of explains the cross dressing. Momo is a totally cool character, despite his scary vibe he is an accepting kind who is protective and kind to Yashiro. Momo's inner dialogue at the beginning is hilarious. The development of the characters is great, as your first impression of them is often challenged. Hideyoshico is great at giving her characters unusual quirks and personalities, so they're not all cookie cutter yaoi characters.
For example, Yashiro is described as plain and momo clearly isn't supposed to be a very cool or attractive guy. This is great for the story because it shows this is supposed to be a romance between two kind of weird guys, not just some lusty bishies
I think this kind of story is perfect for those of out there in the yaoi world who like their art unusual, their characters weird and their love stories true to life.

I dont agree with lifeincircuit - momo is just one of those cute people who put all their effort onto something, he's just wrapped in a ...threatening? package (it was so dorable when he was freaking out on his bed squeezing the stuffed animal). and as for yashiro he got someone who accepted him for who he was.

I really loved this one it was nice and they took their time with their issues - and everytime it went into yashiros pov i kept thinking - momo isnt that scary (well maybe in the bedroom scene).

You dont get alot of cross`dressing manga. that are good. the last one I liked was Kawaisa Amatte Nanika ga Hyakubai (chapters 4&5) - but man, I could read this one over and over - so sweet

Edit: okay so reading it again i do have one problem with it - the ending feels to rushed and the chapter where yashiro was thinking of giving momo a make over (or the part that comes directly after that) we didnt get to see how they got to that point- we saw it and then it ended

bonus points for a manga that actually deals with the topic of crossdressing seriously and not just for laughs. what's so bad about a guy who wants to wear girl clothes, especially if he looks great in them?! *dies of nosebleed*

i actually enjoyed the character of momose. he was quite....unique XD he has this really scary appearance and is sometimes forceful and appears mean at times, but really he's just an awkward metal-loving virgin. and his unwavering fixation on yashiro just made his purity more apparent (even though yashiro was terrified lol). when yashiro was thinking about giving momose a makeover i was like "do it! he could use one!" haha.
