its a one shot so of course its fast but everything felt like it was being awkwardly pushed along through the story. it was like trying to watch someone with really jerky movement try to dance. i dident really feel much of a connection then all of a sudden its i love you i cant live without you and im kinda like "whaaa..... confused ??" how did this happen. it was like knowing that two people liked each other but being really surprised when one of them asks the other out. (like why were you surprised were you not there the whole time they made goo goo eyes over each other?) x.x i feel like something is missing. i feel like i need an explanation D:< but really it wasent that bad it was all just kinda blah like the author had a sudden word/picture vomit then put it together and decided to call it a book. which really is not all that bad. for word/picture vomit... i wanna say this is a 6 but i dont think its quite a 6 but it feels wrong to make it anything under 6 so im just gonna rate this a 6 that really means like 5.5 oh and if your big on the art dont read this becuz it kinda sucks and i have seen people go into rants about art on mangas with amazing art in my opinion at least 10x better than this

What to say about this... I'm kind of, I guess, disappointed in how Riko handles her situation. She labels her date a "jerk", because of the way he reacts to her outlandish appearance. His reaction, though tactless, was completely understandable. I ended up sympathizing with this guy. Riko is a little drama queen who has tears in her eyes on almost every page. (Probably because she bases her confidence on other people's opinions of her. bigrazz) Other than that she comes off as very ordinary. That is actually the strongest impression she leaves on me, is that she is really very plain and ordinary. This manga never shares any of her good qualities with the reader.

Her "enemy" Kenta (I didn't get that impression while reading it, but that's what the description says.) acts a bit more like a real person than the usual guys in shoujo, which is refreshing. (Except for his secret which I shall not reveal here.)

Romance is swift, sudden, and jarring. It feels out of place. I think this would have been much more interesting as a story about friendship.

Be prepared for corny romance. (Enough to make me groan.) These two come off as a real "idiot couple".

There were times when I was reading this that I saw glimpses of potential. Overall though, I don't recommend it. Just read the description. The ending is so predictable you can probably figure it out from just that.
