I must say, first, that the only full translation I could found was in spanish (I can read it, so no prob for me). My thanks to the people that worked to make that translation. All the english versions I came through were incomplete (vol 1-3 were full translated to english, while vol 4 and 5 have some chapters missing), though the translation seem be more accurate.
I never read something with this plot or similar, the idea is interesting. The author takes her time to tell us the story of every member of desert coral, but by the end, after putting together all the pieces, you have a good idea of what happened in Orgos. In fact, you have to read until almost the end to know, because the storytelling go back and forth; a lot of flashbacks and "now I remember this" moments from the members of Desert Coral, specially Naoto.

Here are some spoilers, so be warned:
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Looks like Orgos was a imaginary world created by Naoko, but Mih appearing in the real world, Naoto physically hurt and the fact that there are people in the real world resembling the members of Desert Coral (I don't know if they came to be because of Orgos or if Orgos was at some point a kind of shared dream) tells you (or makes you think, at least) that Orgos was real in some grade. The ending show you what happened in the lives of the alter-egos of the members of Desert Coral. I get the feeling that Lucia has two alter-egos, one a certain girl, and the other Naoto childhood friend (I didn't make up my mind, neither I care that much).
Not much info about the Elphis, or most of the races in Orgos. They are there to give some frame to the storytelling and setting. I think this is a character-driven story, the focus was set in the interactions between the DC members.
This story leave you with the feeling that everyone, specially the male MC, end up leading a somewhat happy and/or satisfying life.

If you start reading this manga, you must read it all, because almost every chapter give you new information and everything is connected somehow. This story has a single arc, if you get tired or bored and drop it halfway you would have wasted your time.
Is not really that long, so give it a try. For sure is original.
