Gouda Takeo is a freshman in high school. (Both estimates: Weight: 120kg, Height: 2 meters.) He spends his days peacefully with his super-popular-with-girls, yet insensitive childhood friend, Sunagawa. One morning, on the train to school, Takeo saves a girl, Yamato, from being molested by a pervert. Could this be the beginning of spring for Takeo?

cUTEST IN ALL THE LAND
Takeo is the best character in the world. Bara buff guy you normally wouldn't see as a love interest and his relationship with his girlfriend and his best friend who normally all the girls fall after. Super cute and wins my love forever!
This is probably the cutest shoujo manga I've read! There's no real plot or character development, but the main character is so far from the typical male lead. The best thing in my opinion isn't even the romance, however, it is the friendship between the two guys. It's the truest form of "broship" I've seen in shoujo.
Really cute and sweet, almost no serious drama, and funny, Ore Monogatari!! is a nice little gem amongst a heap of rocks.

Now I wish Takeo would end up with his bestfriend's older sister
It really is a great mystery for me on why their not in a relationship until now despite the older sister's love interest for Takeo. Takeo may look like a gorilla but he has his own charms. I like how he can be kind even if others misjudged and hurt him. I also like the bond between him and his bestfriend.

It feels so bad that there aren't many chapters available ;_; this manga is so darn sweet.
I think what attracted me to this one is the unusual MC, he ain't no prince that's for sure. I think, most of us in real life have once been in Takeo's position.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
It's very, VERY hard to not root for Suna's sister, we know she cares deeply about Takeo, but she has never confessed to him which makes me wonder why. She had the upperhand for years
That said, we need moar!
i dont really read shoujo manga since everything looks the same for me but this is kinda unique it has a male protagonist and whats more is he isnt that good looking he looks like the big guy from slam dunk
That was great
It's so heartwearming. It's nice to see a manga where the self-proclaimed "uglies" aren't actually bishounen/bishoujo in disguise.
I wish for more girls to come after Takeo.
Takeo has good points. I can't wait for the next release. It would be another remarkable work from Kawahara Kazune-sensei.
Just as I thought it would be!
I've actually been waiting for this to be scanlated for a while, it definitely was worth it!
It doesn't take itself too seriously and most of the characters are "cookie-cutter" (the big goofy guy, the cool guy and the ditzy, cutsie girl) but the way they interact isn't a cliche at all. I also love the friendship between the two main males, it's something that a girl couldn't break apart.

I just want to say that I really enjoyed this manga. Usually, I don't like mangas like this, because it's so badly done.
But this i better than most mangas, and its not stretched out to long or crammed into one chapter. It's the perfect length, told wonderfully, and conveyed alot of feelings.
Read it, very reccomended!
It's hilarious. All the characters are far far beyond my expectations. Their interactions with one another is perfect. I like friendship-themed mangas and this seems to be a prime example. The facial expressions are perfect. This is another manga to be looking forward to.
