Seven chapters out so far for me, but unlike the person below me, I quite like the female protagonist; while some may think she behaves like a doll, I think it's far from it. Her expressions are that of a doll, but most considered "pretty" females in shoujo manga are quite stoic regarding facial features. Hah, no, I'm not talking about the main female (those are usually regarded as "normal/dull"). I'm tired of cutesy, lively girls in shoujo manga (why I stick to josei half the time or male protagonists), so she's quite refreshing c:

Anyways, she's very polite and comes off as "weak" if you don't really take in her background. Because hey, secluded princess of a neutral country who doesn't believe in engagements regarding their princess and another in terms of combining kingdoms. Since her country is a peaceful territory that doesn't join in the fight between other rivaling countries, and how with how she was raised ... Yeah, that pretty much makes up her naivety.

She's mentally strong ;/////; which is totally what I dig in a female protagonists ~ The male protagonist so far, I'm not sure what to think about him. Seems a bit generic to me, but I'm sure his personality will show more as the manga continues on. Either way, the premise is interesting and the art is quite cute/pretty.

At one point I was rather annoyed with the main female lead, she was down right acting like an idiot. But I calmed myself down and looked at it from a different viewpoint. It wasn't like she was stupid or anything, it was rather she didn't have any reason not to be suspecting towards certain things. The mistakes she made were the same mistakes anyone would have made. The male lead was adorable, I just wanted to pinch his cold face and smush him in my bosom. He had his reasons to do things and he truly didn't want to hurt the princess.

The ending was sweet (I was surprised to learn Shey was only 14 for the better part of the story). I hope they have a happy ending.

okay, this has Huge potential, but it kinda reminds me of Hou Roland..
Which is good, coz that story went ina complete different direction from what i wanted it to be. but this one looks like it will suit my taste.
Well, only 1 chapter out so far, so cant give my ranking uet..but the 1st chapter was pretty much the context of the entire manga.

Too short

It was a good story but I wish they could make it much longer. I just read Red River and the story there were soo long, they started to loop the plot while here, there where so much potential, so many characters, new world, so much history and only 11 chapters. Really, which such background there is s much story to tell! Aghr, I will have to make it up in my head I guess ;p
The heroine is indeed very naive but surprisingly, she doesn't annoy me. I guess it's because when she's not with Raju, she's actually quite perspective. She knew that's there something wrong with Orlando (btw, what a name, I saw him as evil Legolas xD) and when someone was doing something bad, she opposed it right away. Her personality is just very sweet.

The art was beautiful, the story was pretty exciting. It drew me in and I wanted to know more about what would happen and the back stories of the characters. I actually liked the female lead. She is strong in her own way. It helps to remember her background and the way she was raised, otherwise she may come off as weak or naive. If you keep in mind who she really is, I think she is a great character. I also loved watching Raju's growth and progression as a xharacter.

I've read better... It wasn't bad and the scenario of all the character was interesting, but the way the storyline flowed was a little messy and very anti climatic... It was like the author attempted to do many things but end abruptly at many parts of the manga.

Too short to be this complicated

The art is good (nothing amazing, just good). Everything else is... meh. It's a very short story so it's somewhat expected. 11 chapters and 1 side story doesn't really provide enough time to flesh out the characters and their development. Honestly, this story would be a lot better if it was longer or if the content was cut in half. As is, there's so much packed into the story that it destroys the pacing and the characters.

For example, the female lead's character growth was very slow until the last 1-2 chapters where it went from zero to 60 real fast. As a reader, I enjoyed seeing her grow but it happened too quickly (and largely off screen). It made the ending feel forced and unnatural. The male lead's character growth had a similar problem with the pacing.

Again, its only 11 chapters, but it could have been better. The side characters (particularly the pirate crew) had a significant amount of screen time that could have been better used elsewhere. Don't misunderstand, they were great characters and would have been great additions in a longer manga, but in this tiny story, they're just extra baggage.

Also, I disagree with one of the other reviewers: this is in no way a (reverse) harem.

I like the art and the pirate setting however... I really hate this kind of meek naive and hopeless heroines ><
She should be more lively and cute. Right now there would be no difference between her and a doll.

technically a harem, but the protagonist is very weak, guilible, and it sorta makes the reader want to whack the male lead to just give up on the lady. Sure, she's a protected princess, but if i'm reading shoujo, suspend disbelief...i rather have her act with a little common sense...hopefully.
