Description
From Panda Scans:
Sanjou Arashi is a serious and reliable second-year high-school student working part-time at a detective agency. Her boss is a gambling, irresponsible, tobacco smelling oji-san. The pair are complete opposites, but this is the story of a scruffy oji-san X high-school girl romantic comedy!
"from now on i am only reading interesting and different things" thats what i told myself a week ago. from that point i have picked up several new things. ^ this is one of them. anyway this might only work for a super duper age gap loveing fan like me, but i'm giving it a seven until some more chapters come out.
I'm a huge fan of age gaps in mangas when the girl is just as mature as the guy (or at least, during the story, becomes as mature). If she isn't, then I find it extremely creepy for an older guy to date a child. The difference of age between 16 and 22, for example, doesn't seem that large, but high school students are usually way too immature to carry on a balanced relationship with an older man, one that doesn't make it seem like some sort of weird fantasy on the girl's part.
This manga, I think does that. Perhaps it's because the guy is kind of immature, but you can tell that a lot of it is just a front because he enjoys teasing her and in general having fun. The girl has common sense, and is far better than the average female lead of age gap mangas.
It's been a really long time since I have last read a cute and light shoujo so I decided to give this a try, and so far so good. The heroine is not dumb nor innocent, nor annoying, on the contrary she's quite strong-willed, seems resolute and, so far, mature (for a high school student I mean). That's good for a shoujo. The male lead is also uncommon and funny. ^_^ So, for now, I'm looking forward for more.
