Description
From Attractive Fascinante:

Takumi and Tomohiro are a very loving couple. Tomohiro is a not-so-popular illustrator, but Takumi is an elite businessman. They only get to meet up once a week and Takumi always leaves immediately afterwards. Watching him leave, Tomohiro can’t help but think, “could it be because Takumi’s too lazy to look for another lover or…?"

Please don't pay attention to the tags on this one. They are very misleading as to the actual plot and content of the story. The money problems arent relevant (one of the characters just makes less money than his partner) and by illness it means a cold. I also dont think promiscuous character should be on there. So yeh! Enjoy this sweet story about two partners who even after being together for seven years find ways to understand and love each other even more.

Fluffy everyday life manga that's engaging enough to not be boring

A very sweet, everyday life type manga, with more-or-less realistic circumstance surrounding it (it seems to be going for a mainstream fluff-loving audience, so it's no Basso or Hidaka Shoko series or anything, but it still has realistic circumstance, if wrapped in fluff). It was a nice read, and surprising, since much of Yamakami Riyu's late-2000's works were polarizing for me (like it or hate it), and I forgot that she could write cheerful stuff like this (a lot of her late 2000's works were more dark, melodramatic, angst-driven, or all three from what I remember).

It's a very sweet story. I think they're a cute couple, though oddly unsure around each other even after going out for 7 years. I feel like the story doesn't address that last part very well, but it has other good things about it that make up for it.

Also, what is this "going overboard" and "holding back" stuff I keep reading about? Is it like, some idea that men can't control their sexual behavior (which is so f-ing stupid I can't even...)? Or something else?

I can say that this is ONE of THE BEST from YAMAKAMI SENSEI!! it can be said that the story line is probably basic life, every day life not a rare sight for the plot. but i like it a lot with the combination of gentle &slightly stupid seme and lustful & understanding uke. yeah, these two character: Tomohiro the seme and Takumi the uke are very delicious! the way they argue over little things, thats sweet part of this manga. it is also touching when Tomohiro tries to hold back for takumi's sake. this is what i called perfect lovers, perfect romance, and... AWESOMENESS!!

and i have read it many times.. and wants to read it all over again... biggrin

Such a nice read! It left a very sweet feeling in me. Yamakami's not always for my taste but it's one of her best stories. The art is beautiful, the bed scenes are hot, and I just adore the characters. Tomohiro is like a kept wife despite him being the seme, and it's really funny. biggrin I think the manga would be more typical and boring had their roles been switched. I generally like dominant ukes but it was one of the most interesting couple settings I've seen so far.

Recommended, along with the two doujinshis!

This was a very cute, easy going manga. Not much happens but it's still pretty good.
The only complaint I have is the roles of the characters in bed. I felt they should have been reversed. It's not that I don't like the combination of serious uke/ carefree seme, it just didn't feel right in this story. Sex is not the most important thing but this fact bothered me throughout the whole manga so I couldn't fully enjoy it.

A very cute love story. There is no real conflict and no real angst. Just two guys who love each other who do cute things. It's nice to read something without misunderstandings or tsundere characters. One thing that is unusual about this story is if they have problems, they talk them out and solve them. If only other stories could be like that....I like how mellow the characters were. The art is nice as well.

I either love or hate Yamakami's stories. This is the 3rd one I really love along with Aisaretaino and Sore wa Yappari Ai Kamone. Sweet story, consistent characters and most importantly comedy.

I didn't like the art at first when I saw the cover, but the story inside pulled me in so well, I stopped noticing it. It is a little odd, as far as yaoi goes, meaning how it lacks in angst, and they solve their problems so easily. However, I really like their interactions, and Takumi's character in particular. The scene where he just bangs the door open as Tomohiro is in the bathroom, made me laugh out loud. ^^; There were some good comedic gems like that, and some hot sex scenes too.

I found it interesting that even though Takumi is the "bottom", he's actually the seme. I guess they're just so comfortable with each other, that roles don't really matter, which I like.

This manga felt like one of those 3-4 page extra chapters at the end of a manga that tell you a couple lives "happily ever after". Except that it was stretched to a couple of chapters and lots of humour and hot smex added.
Such a great satisfying read.
