Stupid fun

Volume 1 is Maki and Shinjo-kun being really dumb and stumbling through love one way or another. It's a Riajuu x Otaku pairing which I love. I also have to appreciate the mangaka's art style that has lots of rough lines. Really adds to the casualness and inexperience of everything that's happening between these two. With how stupid they get with their interactions it's silly, but really brings a smile to my face.

In the second volume, I enjoyed the first half more than the second half because of how much innocent fun there is to be had,
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Maki trying to study more to be able to get into the same college as Shinjo, which leads to Maki trying to get rewards out of Shinjo in the form of kisses/contact, Maki having fun on his outing with Shinjo and his sheer bliss from seeing all the creatures in the aquarium.

In general, there's still a lighthearted vibe throughout the series, but the imperfections of these characters really make their impact in the latter half and I wasn't ready for reality to hit. I do feel it ended a bit abruptly and confusingly but perhaps my reading comprehension is to blame. It also felt like Maki was crying a lot here which makes me cry ):
