Interesting and fun, too bad it got axed

I started reading this manga without expecting anything, but it was more interesting than I thought. The cyberworld stuff could have been better thought, but it was quite creative nonetheless. I liked the twist that

Alice was being controlled by a guy, even if not entirely true.
It clearly was going for an episodic monster-of-the-week formula, but it had way too little time to develop properly. The ending is a mess, but there was absolutely no space to do something much better. Too bad, it had potential and I enjoyed it anyway.

Shonen Manga with uncharacteristic art and plot

First off, I was pleasantly surprised by the art in this manga. The characters look good, as in shoujo manga good, yet there's none of the annoying shoujo fluff. The protagonist is an intelligent idiot, if that makes sense, which makes him all the more adorable. The downside now, what would have been a somewhat long running series abruptly ends with a poor anticlimatic ending.
Art: 8.5/10
Story: 5
