This is pretty good. Short and sweet, with gorgeous art.

I'm glad this was only 5 volumes, any longer and it would've degenerated in to a dramatic emo-fest love triangle. It's perfect though for 5 volumes.

Nicely pulled off and resolved. I think I'll be buying the Del Ray editions when they come out too.

Not only is the art gorgeous, but the story sends a warming message to readers. The main characters are all relatable, and the entire manga as a whole is just adorable. It has a deeper meaning that takes you along with Hikage as you watch her blossom into the person she wants to be. It softly shows you life's harder moments, and how being with others can get you through them. I have read many shoujo manga that have no plot and are comprised of one girl who has multiple guys falling for her. However, this manga goes much, much deeper and explores life and the very core of relationships. It will make you laugh and tug at your heartstrings at the same time. This is one manga that is an absolute MUST READ for its well-rounded excellence.

This is actually pretty good art. The only thing that I don't like is the stereotypical shy girl with the popular boy. That plot has been invented for some time now. XD
You can pretty much tell where the story is going because you've seen it for so many times.
And also, the only thing that is menacing is probably the fangirls from another dimension that will be ignored. That happens alot. Thats why this unoriginal plot, undeveloped characters, and good art deserves a 1. Without a good plot or characters, the art is meaningless when it comes to overall.

This is definitely a great manga. It's so adorable and fulfilling. Every time a character says something it pulls your emotional string so. Especially the main character, if you've ever been ignored you can really relate to her. And please read until chapter 7-8 before considering to drop it. That's when the main character really get's her main development.
Anyway, I really recommend this manga to shoujo lovers, and everyone alike.

Like you've all been saying, Sumino is a wuss. Yes, it's true. But she's giving it her all and is improving. And I bet your all waiting to see her final development just as I have been. Isn't that what keeps this story interesting? As for the guys, they're both okay but if I had to choose it'd definitely be Teru. Don't get me wrong, Hinata is damn well fine but in my opinion since Teru has a bit of a personality going I think he could help Sumino grow and laugh more than Hinata ever could. Yes, she's a wuss. But no, she's not bore.

This manga.......makes me want to slap the main character so badly!
She is weak, if you truly love someone, you'll do your best to be with that person. The guy didn't care about what others will say and just wants to go out with her. He is being really nice, is there a reason why she can't give up somethings for him. She should really stand up for herself cause if you don't, more people will take advantage of you. If someone out there is kind of like the main character in this manga, there are many people in the world, some are mean but then, there are still nice people in the world.It is you that should take the action or maybe someone else will make the action for you and it is your own will if you want to grow. This girl is stuck there for she is scared what are you more scared of, a world of loneliness or a world with people that loves you and hate you? At least you won't be alone that way. It puzzled me, where the heck are her parents? Did they left her or they are dead? I'm currenlty in chapter 5 of this manga. I am planning to continue it for I really want her to transform into a strong person "blossom into a sunflower" so I still haven't rated it yet.

I actually think this one is really good, I usually don't like those mangas with a weak and always crying main character, but this one is awesome. I just can understand how Sumino is feeling and I like how the plot is developing and becoming better and better all the time.
Right after I had read chapter 10 I got the feeling that i just HAD TO comment here, dunno why, though. (perhaps to tell how much I liked this manga? XD) I can't wait for more chapters to come out! ^^

There are certainly quite a few mangas out there that deal with loneliness and being so ordinary that you don't stand out at all, this manga had a good idea in the that the main female lead had people who would still support her, but the catch was the she didn't really know them.

Unfortunatelly for experienced readers, that's where the good ends and all you have left is a predictable shoujo-story where you know every twist that will come from just reading the first two chapters. It was painfully obvious who the people people who supported her were after the first chapter, it was also obvious that you would have the cliched popular girls that didn't like anyone else getting close to the popular guys and how that situation would end up. I've only read up to where the scanlations currently are aka chapter 10, but I can already see how this will play out.

5/10 for the good idea. For the rest, I'm sure you might eventually find a better manga for the actual story.

i absolutely LOVE this manga, i think alot of people can relate to Sumino and her school life. =D the art work is amazing also it sorta reminds me of a shounen manga >>

At the beginning I was kinda mad at Sumino for being so weak, but the story is about how she changes her self, right? so for her to start with difficulties is a given. If at first you think is boring, just keep reading anyway because it gets better.
The art is really good (super cute), the main cras are also very interesting and complex.
