Description
Adaptation of Laclos' "Dangerous Liaisons" by Shibata Yukihiro (Takarazuka Dance Co.)
The beautiful young nobleman, the viscount Valmont, and Lady Meltuieu, amuse themselves with a risky game of love. The two wear masks lying that they are in love but only end up hurting each other.
A forbidden love story that takes place in 19th century high society Paris.
i love the premise, but the execution of it was rather lackluster. the drawings are annoying, the characters keep having downturned eyes which make them look like buffoons. the character's personalities keep changing and i dont know who is supposed to be tsundere or cold, or just an idiot.
skip please. theres nothing 19th century about this except for the clothing. the author didnt even do any historical research in it, which is rather important if your trying to do a historical manga. the characters behave like modern people.
This is an adaptation of the 18th century novel Les Liaisons Dangereuses. With this setup, it could've been an amazing series but it fell short of my expectations. An interesting read if you're expecting anything plotwise.
