I have so much love for this short story!
There's just something about these kinds of stories!
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
The sort-of-slow unexpected feelings for a friend...

Oh it's so heart-fluttering!

Another thing I like is how the mangaka manages to make it feel so much longer. It's only 3 chapters, but I could feel the time pass in the story. That was a great detail. Honestly, I would probably have been satisfied if it ended at chapter 2.5 because the ending was perfect.. The 3rd chapter was like a bonus story, but still great nonetheless~

Highly recommended.
For those worrying about the yaoi-tag: it's really light stuff! Maybe like 3 frames and it's really not graphic :-)

Yoneda Sensei does it again

I love her drawing style. it's so distinct! and the story was too adorable! However, I couldn't mark it a perfect 10 because the last chapter was kind of botched for me. I think it was just the translator, but the feeling didn't come across the same.

such a good slice of life from Yoneda-sensei again.
the ending was so beautiful.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
because he couldn't touch Takami's suit with his dirty hands..
but to me, Takami's side of feelings was.. not like Seki's. Takami got couraged because he had a doubt if Seki still liked him or not. you know that feeling, you get attached to the person if they say they loved you, but if get colder later like they didn't say it at all, it makes you feel curious enough to take a step forward. Takami felt like that, at least, to me..

...I don't think they're a compatible pairing, though. still, that's what makes Yoneda-sensei's work more real. she devours reality and reflects it.

On this day, I realized for the first time
that I was madly in love with this two-shot.

I screamed into my pillow, an inhuman noise.
The mood is perfect. Chemistry, perfect. Feels real. Super moe coupling. A really endearing kuudere. oh my god I love Yoneda-sensei right now so much it hurts

Why did it have to end? It's so not fair. I really, really liked it. Yoneda Kou is getting better and better, I can't show my love for her works (art and plot) enough. I especially like these "little pieces of everyday life". They always leave me feeling a little bit warmer, even those with such an inconclusive ending as this one. Wonderful. And even though it's really just shonen-ai-ish, it was still so worthy I didn't mind. Definitely recommend it, especially if you like cute mechanics, ahah. Seki is adorable.

I've never been a fan of Yoneda Kou, but I am after reading this short story. I'm so grateful for GOOC's translation, I'm afraid I gave up on the Le Pips version after a couple of pages - totally would've missed out.

Ooomygosh thank you so much for 801crazed and Dulcet! I'm so, so glad I've tried to read it again :'D I really thanked every scanlator for any manga they've done, but it's true that I totally didn't know what's going on when reading the earlier version scanlation of this manga... Even I thought that maybe this manga was made intended to make its reader a little confuse... Because, just like ashenta said, the balloon dialog itself was rather confusing. But I sticked out since I really love Yoneda Kou's artwork.

Aaand I've tried to read it again, and... Aaaaa I looove iiit!!! I love Takami's characteristics, he's very, very cool. My my this is very, very adorable... Just like Yoneda Kou's Kanjou Spectrum. If you're searching for a manga like that, this is it! Agh and it's ending just make me wanna see this more!

SOOOOO MUCH BETTER. I can actually understand the story. There are still some weird bubbles here and there that you wonder who said what but over all it is very easy to understand and flows well. The story itself is very bittersweet I think. And I'm not sure what I think about the ending. It leaves it a bit to open for my taste. But overall a nice story with you being able to read the emotions clearly.

IMO Anyway. Thanks <3

Two Scanlation Versions (now three)

Yaoiotaku has also done the translations for the first chapter. I found that their version was much less confusing than Le Pips.
For this reason I found the first chapter (by yaoiotaku) more enjoyable than the second chapter (by le pips).

Le Pips is still a relatively new group, so they will be more prone to mistakes. Give them a break guys! They will improve with time.

Edit: I just read the translation by gooc and it was great! It made up for the tiny bumps in yaoiotaku's version. (It's kinda blunt to say this... but it was a lot more comprehensive than le pips version in general as well).

Translating

I agree with blu papillon. I have the raw for the 2nd part, and for the most part the translators did an okay job doing the translations. The Japanese raw (plus the language) is vague in telling who is the speaker. The translators could not correctly identify who was the speaker and made the story a bit more confusing than it really was. But trust me, if not for that(plus a few mistakes here and there) they did a great job translating it.
