Realistically Flawed Characters

A sweet and sour mix of stories about two flatmates. Pure slice-of-life. The manga-ka dove right into a random day of the lives and continued in the same manner. I kinda pieced together a backstory for my own sake with the barest of hints scattered here and there.
Though I didn't always support what the MCs did sometimes, their actions made this a truly realistic volume.

The art is of the sketchy-alternative style but it suited this very well.

Quite refreshing

I haven't come across this unconventional style of story-telling very often, and I must say the new experience was quite enjoyable and refreshing. There's no development, no backstory, no drama stuff, just plain slice of life goodness that is surprisingly fulfilling in its own way. The characters are also moderately interesting, raising enough attention from me, and the fact that they're not perfect human beings also adds more to the story. They're sloppy, unfaithful, jealous, insecure, but also very sincere, endearing and head-over-heal in love with each other in different ways. I feel that the author had managed to portray these aspects, both flaws and strengths, that exist in all humans quite realistically, and I gotta give her credit for that. The artwork, though not exactly clean and pretty, also fits this manga and the mood very well. Kinda reminds me of Kusama Sakae's and a little bit of Est Em's. Maybe even a hint of Ono Natsume (Basso).
