this is one my favorite stories thus far. by using kids to recreate the problems with the industrialization of society it hits its mark even harder. with no lack of humor, the story's harsh and bleak reality left me dumbfounded. i couldn't help rooting every-step-of-the-way in the struggle of these lively spirited kids' transformation as they refused to give up on themselves. and yes, @nadehi, by slowly introducing the adults and community into the story, it does become so much more complex and rich.

saw a couple of previews for an upcoming animation but was all in chinese. hope it makes it to the states.

A fucking masterpiece, deep social commentary, hilarious, and just so random.... reminds me a little bit of the manga "Kingdom", mixed with the cartoon "Kids Next Door", etc.

Its truly an EPIC in every sense of the word, villains and heroes, politics and faith, etc.

It might look silly at first, but after a few chapters it's surprising how the interaction between the different characters make them become more marking and different from each other from the personality to the point of view. At first, it was a small depiction of a micro-society which is represent as a class, but later on more elements will make the interaction richer and everyone circumstance will make the story more complex.
