I don't see how this manga gets so many good votes. For me it was dissapointment specially considering the relationship between the supposed main male and female characters.

They get seperated soon and the most of the story centers about her and other male characters she meets along the road to find him. To the point where you simply start to root for other guys as they have more development than the main male lead and more screen time for that matter either...

Other than the sucky relationship development (or none for that matter) between main lead and female lead its a pretty decent manga. Artwork is off, but nothing badly and the portray of revolution is pretty interesting and a good break from your sugar shojo stories. Still this manga is far from being perfect. It is still just a mediocre for me.

Even for a spanish person like myself i can see how good of a job the mangaka has done portraying that latin feel to it. There was this moment in volume 2 where i thought "ah Salome!" because this story is sensual, full of angst and a kick ass heroine. I also just love all the bishies that she bewitches with her dance and beauty but her heart belongs only to the owner of the blue roses.....awww kawaii!!!

Charming read!

I really enjoyed this! The lead man, Leon, was so sizzling and gorgeous. I also enjoyed the fact that for once, they made him older than the female. There was none of that ridiculous "17 years old and a billionaire". He must be at least ten years older than Miu (judging by the fact he was ten when Miyu's mother was still childless) Perhaps the manga could be criticised for not emphasising the age gap then... but at least it was there.

The other 'romances' she has with other men are well developed, and you get the feeling it's not just an excuse to throw another bishie at the female lead. Miyu isn't a very strong lead, but she isn't whiny and annoying like so many shojo leads - she has guts, even if it is blind courage, I would rather that than "Save me! Wah! I can't defend myself against 3000 rapists!"

The art is very good, but not brilliant, and overall I really enjoyed this and read it in just two sittings. I recommend it unreservedly!

I did not particularly like this manga because all Mui did was portray the part of a whore. she bewitches these different dudes but at the end runs back to her husband. You just get used to Mui not being with her husband so you start to root for the other guys. I really did like Juan! Mui's husband was great and handsome too. I did not like Mui at all! she never carries her own weight. That's why when I read a manga where a buncha girls/guys start pining over a clueless main character who ends up dogging them out in the end....Well I just don't read them. It's pointless and idiotic...why do the couples that get together always have to have different colored hair then one another? Many mangas I've read all do that. Mui is not my kind of heroine and the main character's relationship is a bit lacking for me. She's off with other dudes half the time and all the main couple do is kiss and have sex bringing across the wrong memo. Sex is not love nor will it ever be. I don't even know how they fell in love with each other when they were together for only a little while...it just doesn't make any sense. This manga is also very unrealistic. It would have been better if all these side relationships had never occurred. The one thing I did like about this manga was the artwork...too bad the plot's shot. How does one fall in love with someone they don't even know? That's something I'll never understand...If you ask me Leon could have done much better than Mui! What's soo great about her anyways?

it was in all actuality a good manga! it has a good setting, and it's neat to see all the different people and cultures in it. it passes the time away.

and yes, although leon's not there all the time, well.. that doesn't matter! XD there's plenty of other interesting gentlemen to fill it up. and it's cute when they find each other, and deepens their love for each other anyways when they're away. (.. did i mention the other men? yeah, and i did kinda root for juan. [/faan? hahahaha. oO])

it isn't perfect, but it's different. combines different elements. oh, and dancing! forgot about that, that's a pretty big part. lol.

I want to clear something up. This manga is worthwhile and meaningful. It turned out to be much more beautiful than I actually thought it would be. It's still your choice how you'll like it though. Don't let me stop you.

i really love this series. Its full with bishies and love story even mature content that will content to your heart. At first, I love the heroine. She is passionate about Leon and even there's male characters with her, she only thinks about Leon. And, I really hate it when she gave her body and soul to the Isaac instead of [Juan] ; that I can defined his love towards Miu is genuine and above all, he is all muscular and bad boy to be exact. Who don't like it? I mean, seriously.

But, I really can't get with the General ( i ABSOLUTELY forgot the name). What's up with him? Can't he just get rid of all this?

Art's GREAT. Plot GREAT . story OK . love romance AMAZING . Mature content FANTASTIC.

Sweet. I quite liked it. It was realistic in many ways, as the heroine didn't actually sleep with one single guy. In a lifetime, you will most likely sleep with more than one guy... it does not make you a slut. Lots of shoujo manga like to glorify the idea, but that's just not how it works. I also liked the tango twist to the manga. The way they're drawn is simply gorgeous. This manga was not all about war nor just about romance. It was a mix of many things perfectly braided together, not tangled up in an impossible bunch. Overall, it is a very good manga and I would recommend it when you need a break from the mushy love-love happy forever the-only-problem-is-confessing shoujo manga.

I absolutely love this manga! I have only read up until the second chapter of the second volume, so I don't know how this ends yet...but I love it! But if any of you guys know a link that I can go to so I can finish this series of First Girl, that would be wonderful! I am desperately trying to find a site that has all of the volumes. I actually found one with all 5 volumes but it's in Chinese/Japanese. Please help! But this is definitely one the of best mangas I've read! I love it!

To start off it wasn't that good. I thought the artwork wasn't all that, which kind of dimmed my interest. Then there was all the unnecessary drama. I mean she had a new guy falling for her in every volume. Like DAMN! Moving on.. As the story progressed, the art became better and the story was a little more appealing (if if at times wacky sigh) But I still enjoyed it, glad there was a happy ending :-)
